The Pittsburgh Steelers put another one in the win column with Josh Rosen leading the way. Josh Rosen was finally 100% healthy and ready to go. After having a somewhat limited role in the offense a week ago, Rosen took back the reigns this week and never looked back. The Steelers were still a little hesitant to put him in a position to get injured again, but his play showed the value of the position.
On offense, Rosen led the way, completing 15 of 18 for 298 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 1 interception. He was able to put the ball in places and windows that Reggie Evans just hasn't been able to do. Roman Whitlock was once again electric on the ground, adding 126 yards on 18 carries. For the second week in a row, he topped the century mark in rushing yards. Dallas Goedert once again found his way to the end zone, as well as Kahlil Wallace(2) and JuJu Smith-Schuster(1).
The defense this game was burned on the long pass multiple times, but stood up when needed. Devin Bush made a huge interception late in the game with the Titans in the red zone. The Steelers once again were able to limit the rushing attack of the opposing offense, holding Joe Mixon to 55 yards on 15 carries. If not for an 18 yard run on the last play of the first half with the defense in prevent, it would have been much worse.
Now having won two games in a row, the Steelers look to finish strong with a remaining schedule that has a little bit of everything. They will travel to Miami next week to take on the Dolphins (2-10), then take on the Saints (4-8) at home before finishing off the season with a trip to Cleveland (9-3) to take on a Browns team that is in a heated race with the Ravens for the AFC North Championship. The Steelers would love nothing more than to play spoiler against their division rivals.
