Week 3 Eye on the Hawks Recap:

The Seahawks entered Arrowhead prepared for a dog fight. Equipped with ear plugs the Seahawks offense new they needed to be efficient to win this game. Despite 2:1 T.O.P. advantage the Hawks were able to pull out a 23-16 victory. Hass’ is a great coach and it was a great road victory for the Hawks to pull out the W. 

The offense has found their footing after week 1’s performance. Russell Wilson attributed the enhanced output to the hiring an offensive analyst who provides advanced analytics for the offensive staff. 

The 3-0 Hawks return home to wrestle with the Cats of Carolina in front of the 12’s next week. This should be a great game between two playoff teams last year and the environment will be great. This has been designated as Steve Largent Day. So get your throwbacks ready Seattle.

Week 3 Big Games across the SML:

NFC West Spotlight: 

Cards vs. 49ers- San Francisco enter this game with a revamped defense and have compared favorable to the Oshi lead Bears D with the turnovers they have forced through 2 weeks. The Cards however has saw a pressure defense last week when they faced a Super blitz heavy Philly squad. This week will be different as the Cards bounce back 24-17. 

Future’s Game of the Week:

Ravens vs. Bills-This game should be interesting because the Bills boast about being one of the best defense in the SML and the Ravens have a dynamic offense lead by Action Jackson and Hollywood Brown. This could be a playoff preview with the upstart Bills playing good ball but the Ravens will prove to be to much for the Bills to circle the wagons. Ravens win 20-10.

Revenge Game of the Week:

Eagles vs. Panthers- Carolina won the previously match vs. the Eagles. But was that a fluke or were the Panthers able to counter the multiple blitz defensive sets from the Eagles. The Panthers will have to find a way to continue the success in last week W over the Bucs to win this game over the Eagles. The Eagles sacked Kyler Murray 7 times last week and with the same scheme in place I see a similar result vs. the Panthers. The Eagles win BIG in a focused effort 38-10. 

Other notable games across the SML:

Patriots over Bengals. Watch out for the Pats. They will make some noise this year. A real sleeper! Pats, Bills, and Jets will fight to the fight. Should be a great division this year. 

Packers over Jets. Will Royce really start the season 0-3 in a tough AFC East this season. Stay tuned

Redskins over Texans- Skins will find a way to contain the explosive Texans offense and make enough plays on offense to win this big game been very experience Madden players. 

Big Picture themes to watch this season:

AFC- Can anyone challenge the Colts? The contenders appear to be getting stronger. Ravens, Chiefs, Pats, Bills, Jets, Steelers, Jags, Texans, Broncos. Who will emerge?

NFC- There is only one question.. Can you handle pressure defensive when you know it is coming? If the answer is no. Sit down!! The Eagles lead the way! Although the Bears, Seahawks, Redskins, and 49ers have dominate defenses the master class of blitz-sylvania is in Philly.
