SML Week 1 reflection:

 

The Biggest shocker to kickoff the Madden 20 cycle includes loses by M19 Champions Prime and Governer. Prime rolled into sunning southern California and lost (or a beatdown in some ppl eyes) to Coach Bluntburner and his LA Chargers 27-16. Flash Gordon lead the way with a monster game ( 23 carries- 250 yards and 3 TD's). After one week, Gordon is the leader in the clubhouse for MVP. 

 

More critical questions face the Colts... Sources within the SML say the Colts front office claim there was a strong smell had their players disoriented. That cannot be confirmed or denied at this point. However, there are plenty of questions looming about a mauled defense. Is a trade imminent on the horizon?!? [We have seen the Colts pull off blockbuster deals to before...] Where's the Luck... Andrew, that is because his stat line was less than impressive!  

 

There appears to be "Big Talk" coming from Nashville from a TinyTitan but can he "walk the walk" to go with the "talk" in week 2... Can the Colts rebound? It may not be the Game of the Week, but it worth watching. 

 

The Eagles lead by Governor entered the season with big expectations... After winning multiple rings in M19 and having the best overall team!! They laid an egg vs. the Redskins. It may come as a shock to some but to "Views from the Needle." Gamepad proved that he was a formidable opponent last year in limited duty with a restricted Chiefs squad. 

 

The Skins led by Coach Gamepad is a very decorated player on the social scene and has a gameplan that is very meticulous. It appears the SML was wrong about the favorites in the NFC East. The Redskins are young, balanced, and talented on offense. Here is the stat line vs. the Eagles. Rookie QB- D. Haskins led the way going (10-10 215 yards 3 TD's), D. Guice (14 rush, 68 yards) and T. McLaurin (5 rec. 108 yards 1 TD). 

 

 

Coach Bluntburner is a "Skins" fan, and Gamepad was in the AFC West last season. The swapping of divisions has paid off dividends for both head coaches.  "Hail to the Redskins" 

 

 

Keep an eye out for the Lions and Cards... Both are relatively new to the SML. However, sources around the league have spoken highly of Coach Colt45 offense, and defensively Coach Columga is a definite defense juggernaut. Both are going to contend for division crowns in the NFC Central and West, respectively.
