Hello all,
Bringing back the old blog posts. Anyone can do one simple and easy. Today I'm going to do a risers and fallers segment. We are going to focus on the Colts, Texans, and Vikings.
Let's start with the Vikings. NYT is currently sitting at a very respectable record of 8-5. However, he started this campaign at 4-0 before falling to the Eagles in week 5. Since then it has been hit or miss for NYT. NYT appeared to have made the leap into elite status judging by his last two games it would leave you scratching your head. Losing 34-0 to the Patriots in week 13 and 41-27 in week 14, NYT will have to right the ship fast before losing all steam. The Vikings are trending in the wrong direction.
Next up we have the Texans. Whom up until the last two weeks were the SML darling. Oktoba seemed to have the South by its balls. Watson playing lights out on offense arguing his case for MVP while the defense had been playing at a championship caliber level. The Texans rolled into a week 13 contest against the equally impressive Browns. The result left more to be desired. The Texans fell to the Browns 20-0. Week 14 against Prime's Colts was not any better 39-0. The Texans will look to right their recent wrongs against a lowly Jets squad.
This week's riser has to go to Prime's Colts. Prime has spent more time improving his sexual prowess than his madden skills and paid for it dearly. However, with signature wins against Governor's Jags and Okotoba's Texans it would appear that Prime has turned the action replay on for a playoff push.
Agree or disagree with these assessments? Let me know. The old cliche the season is a marathon not a sprint holds true. Who knows what teams will rise and fall through the ranks by season end. Stay tuned and good luck!
