Chetty12's Playoff Predictions

Hope all is well from the surgery, Joker. Here is my predictions, that were requested on last week's show(sorry I can't be on the show, working nights most of the time when you guys do the show).

NFC West: Arizona Cardinals - Chetty12 - 5 Game lead, unless an absolute collapse happens, I should win the conference and take the 1 seed.
NFC North: Minnesota Vikings - Poohty - This appears to be a two team race, and with the Vikings/Lions splitting their season series, it'll come down to who plays best down the stretch. I think the Vikings prevail due to their high turnover forcing defense. The Vikings will be the 4 seed.
NFC South: Atlanta Falcons - Drill - Drill appears to be the most consistent player in the South. Saints put up a lot of points, but tend to give up too many points to overtake the Falcons. Falcons will capture the 3rd seed.
NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles - JTG - The Eagles currently have a 1 game lead and have to overcome an injury to Sam "Glass House" Bradford. If Murray can put the team on his back, then the Eagles will maintain their lead in the division and take the 2nd seed.
NFC Wildcard: Dallas Cowboys - Finn - After barely missing out on the NFC East, the Cowboys will be the best of the non-division winners.
NFC Wildcard: Seattle Seahawks - Nike - With several 4 and 5 win teams vying for that 2nd wildcard spot, I think the Seahawks have the best mix of offense and defense to pull it out in the end.

Not going to do an NFC prediction for the playoffs, due to it being a race I am involved in. No need to provide bulletin board material for those coaches with a chip on their shoulder ????.

AFC West: Oakland Raiders - Bird - Bird surprises everyone by overcoming the talented Chiefs and Broncos rosters and stealing the number 1 seed from the rest of the AFC.
AFC North: Pittsburgh Steelers - Kone - The Steelers just have too much offensive fire power to give up a 3 game lead in the division, this late in the season. I think they end up the 4 seed.
AFC South: Jacksonville Jaguars - Rog - The Jaguars top 10 defense lead them to the 2nd seed due to their tie breaker over the Bills.
AFC East: Buffalo Bills - Hemi - Powered by the highest scoring team in the league, I think the Bills have enough firepower to secure the AFC East and the 3rd seed in the AFC.
AFC Wildcard: Kansas City Chiefs - Joker - In a race between 3 7-3 and 1 6-3 teams, I think the team with the best defense pulls it out and the top scoring D in the league is the Chiefs.
AFC Wildcard: Miami Dolphins Or Indianapolis Colts - DJM or Lou - The second wildcard spot will be won or lost in this week 16 match up. In what will basically be an early playoff game, the Colts will go into Miami and the winner will likely claim the last playoff spot.

Dolphins Vs Colts - In a battle of two teams that are pretty similar statistically, I am predicting a 45-38 victory for the Dolphins. If DJM can limit the turnovers, Tannehill will be able to take advantage of the 31st ranked pass defense.

Wildcard Matchups - Bills vs Dolphins and Chiefs vs Steelers. Bills vs Dolphins is a rematch of two games that totaled 148 total points. Last time Miami visited Buffalo, Buffalo won the game by 3 scores and I predict a similar result, but with a closer score. No matter what lots of offense. In the Chiefs vs Steelers, it's the typical top offense vs a top defense debate. I think the Chiefs are able to generate enough offense and limit the Steelers enough to win this match up in a 24-21 victory.

Division Round - Bills vs Jaguars and Raiders vs Chiefs. Bills vs Jaguars is another rematch of earlier in the season. This time I think the Jaguars are not able to generate enough late game heroics and the Bills win 31-27. Raiders vs Chiefs is a hard game to predict, because they still have to play each other twice. Those two games will tell us a lot about how this final game will play out. For now I will stick with the 1 seed and predict a low scoring 17-10 win for the Raiders.

AFC Championship - Bills vs Raiders. The key question here is "Can Tyrod be consistent enough to get through 3 playoff games?". I think Tyrod has a bad game but Charles Woodson comes up big after being traded by the Raiders and late in the game on a safety blitz, forces a David Carr fumble(no tuck rule here) for a touchdown. This will break a 20-20 tie and give the Bills a 27-20 win over the Raiders.
