2018 MBC Draft Recap

Last night was the 2018 Draft in MBC. Many teams came in with high hopes of finding that franchise player to build their team around, others wanting to fill much needed holes. Either way , some came out feeling good about how they scouted and how the players fell to them, while others just missed the guys they really wanted 2 picks right in front of them.One thing is for sure, if you want a franchise guy , you better have a pick in the 1st round. Below is how many players teams picked in the top tier of players from the draft:

Top Tier Players :

Texans : 5

49ers: 5

Bears: 5

Jets: 4

Jags: 3

Colts (cpu): 3

Cowboys: 3

Redskins: 3

Panthers: 3

Lions (cpu): 3

Bills: 2

Pats (cpu): 2

Dolphins: 2

Chargers: 2

Titans: 2

Steelers: 2

Eagles: 2

Giants: 2

Cards (cpu): 2

Saints: 2

Broncos: 1

Ravens: 1

Seahawks: 1

Rams: 1

Falcons (cpu): 1

Vikings: 1

There was a total of 63 players 75 or above overall. The last draft had 57.

There was 7 Star, 11 Fast , 3 Slow projected Dev players. While the last Draft had 5 Star, 11 Fast , 3 Slow.

BEST DRAFT AWARD:

While the 49ers, Buccs and Texans all picked 5 players in top tier, the Texans picks 2 fast dev players, while the 49ers picked 1 star player, and the buccs had 2 fast but 1 slow dev player. Making that part about a tie between 49ers and Texans. The 49ers had 3 of their picks as the top player for that position from the draft , while the Buccs had 2 and the Texans 1.

Thus the 49ers wins the 2018 MBC Best Draft Award!
