The Titans are lead offensively by a few standouts on the Offensive line, Running back and Wide Receiver and Tight end positions. Center Roger Saffold III is an 11 year vet who anchors the Oline. He has played over 500 downs and has allowed zero sacks, the only starter with this accomplishment. He has been a great role model and mentor to rookie lineman Rich Morrison and Nelson Irons. The running game is lead by the manchild Derrick Henry who has over 600 rushing yards and 10 tds to go along with over 170 receiving yards and 2 tds. Henry has missed the last 2 games and in his absence Dion Lewis and a practice squad pickup Kerrith Whyte Jr filled in greatly. Whyte in his only start vs the Colts rushed 16 times for 194 yards and 3 tds. With the superstar Henry back healthy we look forward to him once again carrying defenders into the endzone. Rookie Tightend Josh Goldsberry has been a surprise so far this season second on the team in receiving yards catching 30 passes for 459 yards and a td on top of the outstanding blocking he does for our rbs. Lastly, WR AJ Brown. The talented WR leads the team with 33 receptions for 672 yards and 3 tds. Brown continues to make tough catches over defenders helping with QB Mariotas lack of arm talent. Brown started off slowly but after the trade with the steelers to aquire WR James Washington it has relieved some of the defensive help that Brown was facing early. We believe Brown will only get better as the season goes as well as in his career moving forward.
