Offense A-

Jets offense seemed to score every time they had the ball. Sam Darnold led the charge with 5 passing TDs and 400 yards through the air. Big game for Robbie Anderson after a strong finish to last season. The 25 year old WR posted 4 catches for 131 yards with 2 TDs. The biggest play of the game came in the 3rd when Robbie pulled in a contested deep ball from Darnold to extend NY lead 24-13. Running game did enough in this one as Collins and Bell shared the carries. Some garbage time touches Collins was able to cruise into the end zone on a 28 yard TD run.

Defense B+

Defense gets a higher grade in this one because of the way they adjusted in the 2nd half. In the 1st half the Dolphins easily moved up the field and continued to press the defense putting up 13 points to Jets 17. A combination of power run plays, Jet Sweeps, QB scrambles, and short passes, the Jets couldn't get off the field. Turnovers and sacks were the difference in this one. Miami committed 9 turnovers and allowed 11sacks. Standouts on Defense comes up front. Q. Willams 4.5 sacks and newly acquired Shaquil Barrett game high 5 sacks.
