In another forgettable November game between the Jets and Dolphins, both these teams came into this one under .500. Offensively we were able to move the ball tallying 9 1st downs. Newly aquired RB Theo Riddick was able to make some plays to nicely compliment RB Drake. The key though offensively in this one was the connection between QB Jackson and WR Wilson. Jackson go to guy all year was able to pull in 5 catches for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns. Offense was solid but still needs work as Jackson was sacked 5 times to stall most the drives and be the difference in this one. The defense struggled in this one after putting 4 consecutive games of stout play together. No pressure on QB Darnold as he picked apart the defense, throwing for 302 yards and 2 touchdowns. Bright spots on defense was rookie end Wilkins sacking Darnold multiple times and Xavien Howard intercepting 3 passes. As the season hits the mid way point we are getting an idea of what we need to get better through the off-season as this season long tryouts continues.
