Several Giant's rookies will be getting the start over veterans, as they have played well during camp. Three Rookie starters will be on the defensive side of the ball. CB Deandre Baker will start opposite of Janoris Jenkins. LB Ximines will start opposite of LB Carter and DT Dexter Lawrence will be starting at NT. Only two starters on defense are over 27 years old, so the Giants have a young core to develope. On the Offensive side of the ball, WR Darius Slayton will be coming in in 3 WR sets. But the biggest news comes at QB, where Daniel Jones unseats veteran Eli Manning. Jones has shown a lot of promise in camp and has played fairly well. Giants expect him to do well because of his ability to get outside the pocket. So the Giants probably come in at one of the youngest teams in the league. We will see if they develop and play better as the season progresses. They believe they are a playoff team, but with that much inexperience it will be tough.
