Best 2021 Memories in BL

With the calendar year setting before our eyes, it's time to reflect on my favorite BL memories. I encourage you all to post your memories in an article of your own.
 

• Fletcher get his playoff win agaisnt Hero Austin after three straight one and dones to begin his career. What a tremendous relief that game was, and to do it against a future BL champion made it all that more special. Perhaps the best throw of his career was a wheel route bomb to Marquise Bright that day for a Saints touchdown.
• Best Memory: Miami Trip. It was such a pleasure finally meeting many of you down in South Beach. I think the best part was how natural everyone felt, because we had already knwon each other for so many years simply bonding playing John Madden football. Can't wait for the next one, and hope to see some more. 
• Best Madden Memory: Super Bowl 33. After so much heartbreak and frustration, Fletcher and the Saints got it done, denying Austin with a four peat and sending a fourth Lombardi trophy to my drawer top. The journey of Madden 21 did not turn in my favor many times, but it all came together in four great playoff games agaisnt four talented Madden players. 
• Another BL Lottery and Selection Show success. It's always one of my great pleasures to administer the Better League Lottery. Even though my presentation skills aren't the best and I'm a little spacey on camera, I appreciate you guys for allowing me to use my whacky contraption for some serious business. Even with a few hiccups at the end, that was the smoothest lottery to date and hope you enjoyed the show. Obviously the reveal show is a class of its own, and CMass, Connor and Cody absolutely killed it that night in what always is the biggest and most consequential broadcast of the year. 
• BL22 finally kicks off after a long wait. The scouting update isn't perfect, and the long wait was very controversial for some, but what a joy it was to finally get back to Better League football. My first game was against DuHooty, who I've historically struggled against in the past. But Mond and Vikings were able to push through and get victory #1 of the cycle.
  
  Thank you for the memories, BL. There are far more in the bank than could fit in one DL article. Happy new year everyone, and I wish a strong and memory-filled BL for 2022 and beyond!
