Texans High Hopes Crushed Week 1

The Houston Texans opened up against the Arizona Cardinals week 1, 3rd Draft Pick QB Trett Lowry was given a warm welcome to the NFL by the Cardinals impressive D-Line. Lowry went 8/17, threw 1 INT, 1 TD, and had 134 yards. Houstons offensive line was no help to the pass game, Trett Lowry went down in the pocket 7 times. Lamar Miller put the team on his back and rushed for 104 yards off of 8 attempts. He had 1 TD.

Carson Palmer dotted up the Texans secondary, throwing over 300 yards, 19/22 with 2 TDs. Carson Palmer spread the ball around effectively. The Texans defense held David Johnson to 28 yards, which could be considered a milestone and a stepping stone for the future.
