Niners win OT Thriller

It was the tail of two halves! San Frans defense started out on fire. The 1st quarter they could do no wrong, then the Vikings offense got it together and made it a game. After a pick 6 by Kwon Alexander and a 2nd int by Alexander the Niners D was feeling themselves. Cook was in check, King was doubting himself everything was on track. Then Adam Thielen said he can't cover me and they were off to the races. San Fran just couldn't get off the field on 3rd down, time after time the Vikings would pick up the needed yards on 3rd down. San Fran couldn't get much going offensively, the lone bright spot was Raheem Mostert rushing 34 times for 262 yards. Rookie Jake Bently couldn't do anything with the passing game, throwing for a slim 146 yards. Niners had to all but abandon the passing game. With Colman out for at least another week Mostert was the workhorse the Niners needed. Still a long way from playoff considerations but a good step in the right direction.
