Niners continue to slide out of the playoffs!

With the coaching staff all but having given up on Jimmy G, the Niners couldn't muster any offense behind rookie Jake Bentley. The late season switch is taking some getting use to as the Rookie QB, tries to show the coaches and the team that he belongs. Everything can't be placed on his shoulders as none of his skill positions gave the young fella any help. Relievers repeatedly dropped catchable passes that were on the line. The Niners ground game was nonexistent for a better part of the game. Except for a late scoring run when the game was out of reach, Mostert did not help the cause at all. The Niners may have to do something on defense as the secondary was exposed for being to slow to keep up with anyone! Bentley finished with 328 yards on 19-43, Mostert 13 carries for 99 yards and 2 td. The defense couldn't get off the field on 3rd down to save their life. It's going to be a long 2 weeks of practice as the Niners limp to the bye week 2-5.
