New Season, New Team

On the eve of the new season the Jags are looking forward to unwrapping their new shiny toys to see what's in the box. New faces all around should make for an interesting season. Coach Thompson comes over from the Niners were he had moderate success but could never get over the hump. So Coach has a lot to prove in his new settings. Coach Thompson gets to work with the number 1 overall pick out of Clemson, Trevor Lawrence. The can't miss kid has all eye on him as he was drafted as the automatic starter as a rookie. For insurance the Jags picked up Colin Kaepernick who will also push Lawrence in practice so that he knows the job is not a lock for him. Stay tuned for camp updates as they advance to the start of the season. The loss of rookie running back Travis Etienne is a major blow for the 1st 16 weeks as he rehabs a late foot injury. The hope is that he can return by week 10 with no setbacks, keep your fingers crossed.
