Bears Trade Rumors Swirl Amid Disappointing 1-3 Start

The SFL Chicago Bears knew coming into the season that it wasn't going to be easy.  A rookie QB, an average, at best, offensive line an aging defense, and a new offensive scheme were a lot of changes to implement in one season.  The result has been a disappointing 1-3 start.

Fields has looked like the superstar college QB they drafted at times and a struggling rookie at times.  He is completing 66% of his passes, but 6 TDs to 10 INTs and 13 sacks are worrysome.  The offensive line has struggled to protect the rookie and the scrambling ability that he showed in college hasn't translated to the pro game so far.  Most concerning has been his inability to mesh well with long-time Bears standout WR Allen Robinson II.

The first game of the season Robinson had 3 catches for 120 yards and 2 TDs.  It looked like Fields and Robinson had instant chemistry.  However, the last 2 games they have only managed to hook up for 3 catches and 0 TDs.  That's not a good thing for a WR in a contract year on a team without a 1st round pick and lots of holes to fill.

Rumor out of Chicago is that despite how much he likes Robinson, Coach Mynatt has come to terms with the business side of the game and has agreed to entertain trade offers.  The team said it would not expect to see Robinson on the field in Chicago for week 5.
