Class of 2025
This was our first actual draft. This was also when we found out about the scenario for the QB and it was the start of chaos in the draft next year and forward. So, again, we will be comparing players overall AND how they performed.
1st Team
QB – Dion Bullocks – 92 OA (San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers)
Okay, I’m a bit biased. I wrote a piece calling him a lesser version of Kyler Murray. With 88 Speed, 88 Throw Power, and 95-96 accuracies, he was that. This was a race between Frazier, Burton, and Bullocks. Burton was the best OA, but Bullocks had a bounce back after a rough start in SF and led the Steelers to a great playoff run.
HB – Jermaine Rogers – 95 OA (Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs)
You know, I forgot about the fun of this draft. This was the draft, if I can remember, the Steelers drafted 3 HBs. But, they didn’t grab the best one. Rogers had 38 rushing TDs over the cycle and had a decent finish in KC. At 26 Years old, who knows what it would’ve been at the end.
WR – Tyron Walford (Buffalo Bills) – 99 OA
It’s crazy. He was 4th round pick. And he became the FACE of M25 in RZ. It didn’t matter what you did, you know Walford was going to get 200 + yards on you and multiple TDs. This was something special and something I 100 % am glad I don’t have to see ever again. Here’s to you, Walford.
WR – Kameron Winters (Carolina Panthers) – 99 OA
In any other cycle, Winters would’ve been the guy. Winters helped the Panthers to their Super Bowl win, including a TD in the Super Bowl against the Bills.
WR – DeVante White (San Francisco 49ers) – 90 OA
So, this last tidbit isn’t going to actually be about White. But, he did great. Let’s talk about Mathis. Mathis had such huge potential. He was drafted in the 1st by the Falcons, traded to the Cowboys and then let go and the Seahawks signed him. Despite having 41 injury, every team tried to make him great. He finished with 26 TDs, which isn’t nothing, but man, if he had 70+ injury, what a prospect this guy would’ve been.
TE – Brian Elfman (New York Jets) – 97 OA
“ELFMAN!!!” How many times I heard that name yelled? This was the focal point in the passing game. If the Jets weren’t gonna run it down your throat, Elfman was going to get open. Starting as a 75 OA Normal Dev, Elfman was 97 OA XF at the end of the cycle. He finished with 40 TDs.
OL – Delvin Michaels (Philadelphia Eagles) – 97 OA
OL – Rashaud Richardson (New York Jets) – 94 OA
OL – Hayden Osbourne (Baltimore Ravens) – 92 OA
OL – Eric Conover (Kansas City Chiefs) – 91 OA
C – Jake Strong (Carolina Panthers) – 92 OA
DE – Alex Wilson (Pittsburgh Steelers) – 98
This was a good draft for the Steelers (which will be mentioned in a moment in another position). Wilson finished high 90s and some 99s where it mattered. 63 Sacks and 4 FFs.
DE – Shaquille Davis (Buffalo Bills, Las Vegas Raiders)
Until I looked at the team history, I forgot about this trade. While clearly giving the Bills 1st round picks was always a bad a idea in this cycle, at least Davis panned out. 98 PMV, 47 Sacks, 9 FFs.
DT – Darren Palmer (Denver Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – 99 OA
Palmer developed into a monster, 99 BSH, 99 PMV, 99 FMV, 99 PRC, 99 AWR, 99 Hit Power, 99 Pursuit. 56 Sacks, 11 FFs.
DT – Jaden Kitchens (Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers) – 99 OA
Kitchens also developed into a monster, sharing the attributes of Palmer. 2 DT studs in this class. 65 Sacks, 5 FFs
MLB – Edward Richardson (New Orleans Saints) – 96 OA
3rd Round pick, Saints got a steal of a MLB. 85 ZCV and MCV. He finished with 448 tackles, 9 Sacks, 15 FFs, 25 INTs and 1 DTD.
OLB – Victor Castle (Kansas City Chiefs) – 89 OA
Finishing with 87 Zcv and 82 Mcv, Castle ended with 300 tackles 11 sacks, 4 FFs, 25 INTs and 1 DTD.
OLB – Oliver Eaton (Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens)
What happened with Eaton? He did overall pretty well over his career. He racked up 309 tackles, 13 sacks, 6 FFs, 16 INTs and 1 DTD.
CB – Max Easley (Jacksonville Jaguars) – 99 OA
While he didn’t have a high stats, Easley was the best CB in the draft. He finished with 99 MCV, 99 ZCV, 97 Press, 99 PRC, 97 AWR. 15 INTs.
CB – Will Kitchens (Indianapolis Colts) – 95 OA
Kitchens was very good for the colts. He finished in the 90s in coverages. 17 INTs and 2 DTDs.
Safety – Steve Hart (Miami Dolphins) – 89 OA
Again, I’m biased, but also there weren’t many safeties that developed in this class. Hart finished with 2 FFs, 12 INTs, and 1 DTD
Safety – J.T. Wall (Los Angeles Rams) – 90 OA
Despite good coverages, Wall didn’t put up stats. 2 FFs and 6 INTs over his career.
K – None. There are no kickers still in the league from this class. None.
P – Nolan Reynolds (Arizona Cardinals) – 81 OA
