Welcome to Season 2 of the Hot Seat.  As many of you remember, the Hot Seat is an interview with one of our members where we aim to learn a little more about them.

Tonight's guest is Jstan51

First off, after 5 months or so with Madden 25, where do you place this on your All-Time Madden list?

I hate it. I've had every Madden since Sega Genesis in 1992, but this is the worse one in a couple of years.  My two biggest complaints are the running game is unstoppable at times and very few blitzes work unless you make a ton of pre-snap adjustments.  I don't have time to learn stuff like that. It plays too robotic.

What are you looking to do in the offseason to push your team to the next level?

My roster is in good shape.  I need to resign Suh, but that shouldn't be a problem. I need o-line help, but I'm not sure where it's going to come from.  I think I had a top 5 defense last year, everyone returns.  I lost 5-6 starters on offense to injury at different points during last season, including my top 2 quarterbacks which made me go with a rookie, 3rd string quarterback for 6 games. Once everyone was back from injury I think I went 6-2.  I can live with that.

What other games do you enjoy besides Madden?  What first got you into video games and which game did you fall in love with first?

I don't play as much as I'd like to anymore, but I do fire up Assassin's Creed and Battlefield on the PS4 when I get some time.  I gave up on Call of Duty a few years back.  Battlefield is on another level.  If you like Call of Duty, you probably like to run the option in Madden.  Amateur hour...just sayin.

Who are your favorite people to play in Madden?  Also, who's the one player you have trouble with the most who you would love to finally stick it to?

My division (the AFC East) is a ton of fun, it's just too stinkin hard.  Tansta, Cobbs, and Budbowl are always fun to play and they're good.  I think we had 4 defenses in the top 8 last year.  Maybe that just means we all suck at offense.  I like playing my brother too (Hale), but we haven't had the opportunity very often.  Mesko and Dan are good friends as well, so that's a pretty good matchup for me.  I've had a ton of trouble beating Tansta and Cobbs in the division, but finally beat them both at the end of this year.  They are still the teams I need to beat to get to the playoffs.

Some of us know that you tell rich people what to do with their money and you're a jetsetting studmuffin.  What lead you down that career path?

I never wanted to go into sales, I actually thought it was the last thing I'd want to do.  I also don't quite tell rich people what to do with their money, but I do work with institutional investors (ie universities, corporations, governments) to try to get my company to manage some of their money.  I do fly a lot, but I'm no studmuffin...I do enjoy a quality muffin though.

My major was Finance in college, and I wanted to work in the investment world.  I thought I wanted to actually buy stocks and bonds for peoples portfolios, actually manage the money.  Dumb luck landed me down this path though.  A friend had gotten a promotion at my current job and called me to see if I would be interested in filling his old position.  It's worked out pretty well.  I get to play a lot more golf then the guys who actually manage the money.  See....told you it wasn't that interesting.

Now it's time for the Speed Round.  Answer with the first thing that comes to mind!

Name- John Stanley

Age- 31

Location-  Pittsburgh, aka The City of Champions

Favorite Food- there's not enough space to answer this.  Ice Cream (any flavor that doesn't have fruit in it).  I could eat a Cheeseburger for every meal, but if it has bacon, cheddar, bbq sauce, and onion rings on it now we are in business.  Nothing is better than a good steak though.  No wonder I'm overweight and my cholesterol is high.

Favorite Drink- Unleaded = Sweet Tea   Leaded = a good I.P.A.

Favorite Movie- how about just a smattering of really good ones...The Usual Suspects, Boondock Saints, Wedding Crashers, Old School, Saving Private Ryan, Lord of the Rings, & Blade.  Maybe joking a little with Blade.

Favorite Band/Musician- Garth Brooks is a legend

Favorite Actor/Actress- Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey..they don't make bad movies.

Favorite Sports Teams- I'm a homer.  Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, Pitt, Robert Morris (my alma mater)

Favorite TV Show- The Wire (because I'm white), Lost.  Currently it's The Good Wife and Homeland

Favorite Athlete of All Time- Greg Lloyd because he was the scariest linebacker I've ever seen play the game.  If you give me a second one, it's Mario Lemieux
