NFL Power Rankings week 4

I was going to skip my week 4 power rankings but I’m OCD and don’t want the numbers to skip in this forum. I will get week 5 in tomorrow. I think.

Yay power rankings. Here they are.

.Buccaneers- Mike Tyson once made a famous quote “everyone has a plan until you get punched in the mouth” and that’s just what the Bucs are showing those who think they have a plan to beat them. Especially with a top 3 offense.
.Eagles- The Eagles have been absolutely lights out. They had a tough loss (3 points) to the Buccaneers but that’s exactly why they’re our #2 ranked team.
.Rams- The Rams Defensive line is so good they made the Seahawks trade arguably the best WR in the league to try and stop them…not sure if it’ll work but will see. When asked about his teams gloating this week the coach stated “it ain’t bragging if you can back it up”.
.Panthers- I usually don’t switch teams in the power rankings just because of 1 win but the Panthers beat the Colts so bad I heard someone scream “call the police”. The panthers have a top 10 defense so it’s no surprise they shut down the Colts.
.Texans- Texans showed us that everything is bigger in Texas including the score. Sure the Chiefs kept things close…for awhile. But when things matter the Texans scores 24 in the 4th to embarrass the Chiefs.
.Colts- The Colts traded a haul for DK and now have the #1 Offense in the NFL…and the 2 stars they gave away on defense? Well maybe they were what was stopping from the Colts from being as bad as they are on defense…how bad? They rank 30th on defense.
.Steelers-how does someone jump 9 spots? By beating an elite team likes the Browns…a good team like the Bengals…and a old vet like the Jaguars. Also have the #1 ranked defense helps. If you’re not excited about the Steelers you’re not paying attention.
.Patriots- The Patriots beat the Raiders soundly. Look for the to go 2-2 vs the Jets who they have seemed to win easily against the last couple years.
.Chiefs- The Chiefs have a top 10 offense but a defense that hides better than a ninja. It’s early so they can correct their mistakes.
.Browns- The Browns had stains running down their drawers after that loss. The Steel curtain closed on their show. They’re a tough team so look for them to put their drawers in the washer and reload next week against the Colts.
.Cowboys- Heartbreakers and not in the good sense (if there is one). The Cowboys made us all believe they were the real deal and then they get whooped by the Rams. This is just one game but it was an important statement game and they let us down.
.Jets- If division teams are like family then my I don’t know whether to celebrate the Jets win or call the police on them for domestic violence.  The Jets might not be the best team but they sure bully the Dolphins.
.Saints- A loss to the Bears is still a loss to the Bears. They’re defense is ranked #2 overall but that can’t mask a bad offense.
.Lions- The Scored board operator earned his money in the 2nd Quarter of the Lions games. The lions lit up the scoreboard with 35 points in the 2nd quarter and never looked back in their blowout over the Broncos.
.Cardinals- Welcome back to the win column. They beat a touch Ravens team and I expect a lot more from them.
.Bills- The Bills were a below average team last year and they showed promise early this season…maybe too early. The Jaguars pulled their credit card and found out they were overdrawn. This might just be a hiccup but we have to ask ourselves…is this the same bad team as last year or was this a fluke loss?
.Ravens- I never thought I would see the day the Ravens would fall this far. I just can’t justify their 0-3 record no matter how I spin it. Do I think the Ravens will miss the playoffs? Absolutely not. They just need to do something to show us they’re not letting their little brother call plays.
.49ers- Forgetting about the hiccup this team has taken the league by storm. This team is exciting and I’m excited to see what they can do.
.Titans- The Titans are 2-1 with Russel Wilson. I’m excited to see what they can do against a tough Steelers team.
.Jaguars- They beat a tough (so far) Bills team. I look forward to watching Trevor Lawrence drop more dimes.
.Dolphins- An amputee with no arms and legs could count on their limbs the amount of times the Dolphins beat the Jets…the answer is zero.
.Raiders- some think they’re a myth. That they don’t actually exist. You can’t seem to get them to message you back. But the Patriots beat the hell out of that myth either way. Step it up.
.Bears- They beat the Saints and the Vikings. Only one of those teams is good. I just can’t get behind the Bears right now after that week 1 beat down. If they win some more I’ll start believing.
.Bengals- They have a lot of talent and I’m looking forward to them stepping up this year.
.Washington Football Team- They are really good at beating bad teams. The Dolphins and Cowboys aren’t bad and they lost to them. Not saying they can’t win. Just saying they need to win against a good team for me to believe.
.Vikings- They beat the Packers and everyone knows that’s the close as the Vikings will get to a Super Bowl.
.Giants- Disappointed but I know they can do better.
.Broncos- Not sure what they can do to fix their issues on both sides of the ball.
.Packers- If they could play the Bears every week they would be the best team in the league.
.Chargers- Still a nice guy. And that counts.
.Falcons- The Falcons don’t have a win loss problem…they have a lack of talent problem.
.Seahawks- I didn’t think they could get any worse…they proved me wrong.
