[B]LEAGUE OVERVIEW[/B]

Welcome to the Franchise Sim League (FSL). This league stems from the tradition of the Federal Sim League which is an OOTP-based community that has been operating for 3 full years now (11 in game seasons). The values of our community are simple:

1) Respect everyone - doesn't mean you need to be best friends and rivalries are great...just leave the personal attacks at the door (we are not Democrats and Republicans here).
2) Have fun - losses happen, that is part of the game. No player will win every game. Respect the losses when the come, congratulate your opponent and move on. If you get angry after the game - remember THIS IS MADDEN AND IT WILL PISS YOU OFF! Step away, hit a punching bag, go for a run, work out....hell SPIKE A CONTROLLER just don't cause drama in the general chats.
3) Be fair - this is not a win at all cost league. The cash prizes go to the best people and active owners in the league.

CASH PRIZES

Part of the history of the FSL community is to award league activity. There are two cash prizes that will be awarded each season:
1) Survivor Pool winner = $25
2) Owner of the Year = $25

The owner of the year award goes to the one owner voted most active and liked by his peers. This award goes to an owner WHO MISSES THE PLAYOFFS but remained active in the spirt of competition. You may only win this award once per game season but awards good sportsmanship.

THE FANTASY DRAFT SPIRIT

Fantasy drafts are fun, but we know people like to bail quickly in fantasy draft leagues. I get this. My sim baseball league started with a fantasy draft in 2018 and we had our early bumps but we found the right owners after that. I am committed to making this community fun, active, and enjoyable for all. The draft process will be thought out to maximize everyone's participation. We expect to draft throughout multiple days within the game and through a slug format during our off periods.
