Saints recap:

The saints season was a tale of two halves. The team started out strong with their young phenom QB Jordan love going on an 8-1 start. He showed signs of an elite franchise QB even finding his go to weapon OJ Howard who put up an all pro type season with over a 100 receptions and 16TDs. But the season quickly went south going 1-6 to end the season all but one game losing my 1 score or less. The young upstart who looked like a veteran to start the season showed the he had still had a lot to learn finishing 2nd in the league in interceptions. The team had some turnover during the season which could’ve also attributed to there losing skid. But the acquisition of jalen Ramsey and Brian burns were huge acquisitions that game changers. Even with the skid the saints squeaked into the playoffs as the 2nd wildcard and managed to get an impressive win over the Lions. But quickly ran into the stout and clearly ready to win now Cards it was a hard fought game where the cards came out in top by 3 points. Even with all the ups and downs this season the atmosphere around this team is positive and there is a lot to look forward to. Also with the move to Houston this could be the breath of fresh air that this squad needs. And going into next season the Oilers are going to shock the world next season. Luv ya blue!!!

With an arsenal of former Virginia Tech standouts, including the reunion of the Fuller and Edmunds brothers all on the same team,and a solid squad of go-getters from across the nation - The Baltimore Ravens and Head Coach/ VT Legend Frank Beamer were poised to have at least a fun year if not one full of surprise wins and a true underdog mentality. The year was definitely tough, with the Ravens finishing 2-14, however there were many bright spots that came with it including taking league rival Cincinnati to two epic games including a victory and a close OT loss. There was a last second field goal to win it against the Eagles, where Joey Slye relived some of the old VT walk-on magic that got him to the NFL. Tyrod Taylor was at the helm for a majority of the year, servicing as the team captain and role model for younger players to look up to - even mentoring QB Logan Thomas who decided to switch back to his roots as QB and try to fill in when necessary. The Ravens have a tough, tough RB in Josh Jacobs who is poised to step into the top echelon of RBs in the league over the next few years and the defense is shaping up to be anchored by the Edmunds and Fullers for years to come, bringing the smash mouth, lunch pail defense attitude to Baltimore. Stephon Gilmore snatched 8 interceptions for the year, but appears to be disgruntled by the teams lack of interest in South Carolina products, so perhaps a change of scenery may be coming for the standout, top CB. The offensive line was led by rookie Mekhi Becton who towered over most defending players, hoping to develop into the premier LT of the game over the next few season. Last Chance U star Dakota Allen was another bright spot for the team, recording an epic pick six in the season - and a chance for which he is very grateful for to be starting in the NFL. All in all however - the AFC North and out of division schedule proved to be a lot to handle for the Ravens and with the season’s disappointing record, the Ravens secured the 2nd overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft - where they are likely to select a successor to Tyrod as he coasts into the sunset of his career. Whomever is selected is sure to be in store for an exciting next season, where the team’s mantra is to continue going “1-0” each week striving to make it a lasting effect on each of its players and fans. Bengals Season Recap

The Bengals finished the season with a 7-9 record. The Bengals future it bright, with their 3 rookie offensive weapons. QB Tua posted 4,261 Yards, 26 TDs and unfortunately 24 interceptions. WR Jerry Judy was elected to the Pro-Bowl in his rookie season after a monster season with 77 Rec’s, 1424 Yards and 11 Td’s. WR Van Jefferson put up solid numbers as the #2 with 57 Rec’s, 811 Yards & 5 Td’s. RB Marlon Mack respectively rushed for 1,118 yards, 17 Td’s to go along with 48 Rec’s and 410 yards. The defense had it’s ups and downs but finished in the top 5 in stopping the run. All Pro Aaron Donald led the way 46 Tackes, 10 Sacks & 2 Forced Fumbles. The defense’s strength is the D-Line and Secondary, look for the Bengals to improve their LB roster in the draft. Overall, the Bengals look poised to make a run to the post-season next year, as long as they limit their turnovers. They have the core pieces in place to win the division for years to come. Packers thought they pulled a fast one on the league holding out til their last picks to grab their QB and WRs. After battling to go 5-5 to start the season, they finished 1-5 to cap their season at a meager 6-10. Despite the efforts of the league rusher Nick Chubb, couldnt overcome many of their opponents. Tannehill couldnt get anything going especially with Funchess had no chemistry.

The down season is their first in years leading to the immediate move to another country, straight to Canada. Looking forward to next season as the Toronto Thunderbirds. With new offensive weapons and schemes. Hopefully the change will grant a better outcome. TO NEXT SEASON!

The Bucs had an interesting but disappointing season. Finishing at 5-10-1 the Bucs did have some individual success. 5 of the Bucs made the pro bowl. B Brooks A Mack D Phillips T Lockett and J Crowder.

Overall the season wasn’t the best, we did have some good performances. Rb Leonard Fournette finished in the top 5 rushing.  Lockett top 5 in yards. And rookie joe Burrow finished top 5 in ints unfortunately. The defense was led by top performers Darius Phillips and Jamal Adams.

With a top 10 pick the Bucs hope to help their signal caller burrow with either a pass catcher or blocker. We feel the defense is a work in progress and will focus our off season acquisitions there.
