Rules

Upon Joining

Join league- Create Coach. You will be kicked and asked to rejoin if you don’t create coach.

Pick one player to Amnesty- This is your one attempt to rid you team of a contract you don’t want.
That players salary is reduced to 0 year one and has to be cut after SB is complete.

28 and over - Player 28 or older to add a dev upgrade- Max upgrade to SS cannot upgrade to SS-X
One rookie from normal to Star can make one rookie from normal to star.
One Offensive Lineman one free Dev upgrade to any level

Traits Two players any two traits.

Game play

Sim NFL like game play.

Offense - - vary formations, play calling and passing targets. Mix up runs, routes. Do not over adjust and constant hot routes to the point the play clock is eating up a large amount of the game. Running backs should lead team in catches.

Mobile QB’s -
Teams with Mobile QB’s may run them but not to absurdity (anything over 10 starts to push it) or constant manual roll outs and then pass. Calling all slants then rolling out and hitting the back-side slant is prohibited until further notice.


Defense

Cover 1 and Man Cover 2 should be played at least 20 percent of the time.

Mix your zones.

Mix your user on defense.

No manually moving players on defense unless the offense goes in motion and you are completely out of position

Don’t press every play or create constant movement with non stop manual adjustments.

NEW 4th down Rules, 2pt conversion, hurry up and clock kill!! 1/20/17
Global 4th downs rules.
You may go for ANY 4th down and 1 inside the opponents 45 yard line at any time any score.
You may go for any 4th down with 7 seconds left in a half or game (hail mary situations.. if you are leading in the 4th obviously not)
Situational 4th down rules.
Down 4 scores at anytime in the 4th quarter
Down 3 score with Less than 7:00
Down 2 Scores with Less than 5:00
Down 1 score with less than 3:00
Hurry up offense:
Under two minutes first half.
4th quarter- ONCE you begin hurry up you have triggered clock kill for you opponent. As soon as you use hurry up under the guidelines (you will be behind) they can use clock kill when on offense.
Down 4 scores in the 4th you may hurry up at any point.
Down 3 scores under 6 minutes
Down two scores under 5 minutes
Down one score under 2:30.
Using clock kill. You may opt to use clock kill at any point where the other team uses hurry up.
Other than that not until UNDER 2:30 left in the game. You may also kneel under two minutes at any point when tied or behind instead of running a play regardless of how many time outs your opponent has.
2 point conversions. You may go for two if you have missed an XP the previous TD no matter the score. If you dont covert the two you do not get "additional" attempts later unless under standard rules.
If you miss two XP's in a row you still only get one "free" 2 point try next time to make up for it. Going for two to make up for a previous missed XP is 100% optional.
Other than that you can go for 2 at ANY point in the second half to get within 24, 16,15,14, 11,10, 8,7,3 or a tie. and of course you may go for two ahead if makes the game 3, 7, 14,16 etc. Just dont be an ass running it up.
If you score with under 25 seconds and are down one. You can go for two for the win.
