Indianapolis Colts Recap The Indianapolis Colts were off to a great start during the 2019 PPL season. Amassing 9 wins through the first 11 games with #12 overall pick ,Tyreek Hill, leading the team with over 1100 all purpose yards. It was looking like it would be a career year for Hill until he suffered a season ending shoulder injury that would see him out 38 weeks , missing the post season for the second time in his young career. Thin at the reciever position, the Colts made a desperate attempt to fill the void by bringing in Taylor Gabriel and Tyrell Williams in a trade with Cincinnati. While the move remedied the loss of Hill the first game, it would ultimately be to no avail as they would drop 3 of their final 4 regular season games and struggle to find an identity on offense without the help of their top draft pick. The Colts then suffered a heartbreaking 31-24 loss to the Miami Dolphins at home after holding a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter. In a press conference after the game, coach Brian Bearbahls had this to say about the team's late collapse "It's really tough, but I'm proud of our guys for fighting. Josh played a hell of a game. I guess there was just some miscommunication on some of the throws late, he thought LB was a power modifier and not a high throw modifier. I just told him let's not use LB anymore. But he's a great player and I think he will learn from this. We will be back stronger as a team next year and we will show PPLS league what this Bearbahls regime is about." The loss came just days after Coach Bearbahls' brother, Bug, who is head coach of the New York Giants in the partnering FSL League, suffered his own second straight post season defeat. The brothers are now a combined 35-13 in the regular season while 0-3 in the postseason. Needless to say that father Bill Bearbahls, who is a former owner of the Minnesota Vikings and the 1981 Australian Midget Tossing Champion, would not be proud of his sons' post season success at this moment. Indianapolis has a strong roster returning for the 2020 season. With young superstars Josh Allen and Tyreek Hill, and superbowl veterans Bobby Wagner and Zach Ertz. Coach Bearbahls will look to get back into the playoffs and attain the family's first superbowl title, along with his father's approval. Last edited by meetch1226 (1586074985) |

Packers recap: This young core on offense of Minshew, ty, and Dk really grew together week by week developing it the stars people thought they would be coming out the draft and really building a chemistry with each other. Dk and minshew becoming one of the deadliest QB-WR combo we’ve seen in quite some time the future is bright with them 2. On the flip side the defense was led by veteran leadership with the likes of Kalil Mack (who had a career year), deon Jones who was all over the field shutting everything done run game and pass game, and Randall Darby who held his own against some of the best WRs the league had to offer. With this interesting mix of youth and veterans the team had their ups and downs but an ultimately strong season making it into the playoffs as a wild card where anything can happen once your there. This team is ready to show their grit and toughness these playoffs. Go Pack Go!!! |

Steelers Recap The Steelers finished the season at 10-6 and just missed the playoffs by one win away. They started off 4-2 before their Week 6 bye week and finished the season above .500 the rest of the way. But crucial loses to Division rivals like the Bengals twice and 3 loses to the AFC East crushed the Steeler's playoffs hope. QB Dak Prescott had an up and down season throwing for over 4,000 yards with 30 TD's but with a league top five interceptions with 34. With a season under his belt let's hope he can minimize those turnovers which will be key for this team make the playoffs next year. RB Damien Williams plugged in nicely after the trade of RB Henry for defensive upgrades. Of course TE Travis Kelce finished the season as the leader in receptions and yards along with TD's. The add of WR Jarvis Landry proved to be a great move as the veteran WR was the go to guy when TE Kelce saw double coverage. WR James Washington should have a better 2nd year with have a sub-par year as the 3rd favorite target. The strength of this team was obviously the defense as they finished Top 5 in every defensive category. This once again proves the trades that were made solidifies the future of the defense for this team. 2nd Year pro Marcus Williams won Defensive Back of the year with a league leading 12 int, 56 tackles, 14 pass breakups and 1 defensive touchdown leading him also to the pro-bowl. CB Mike Hilton and James Bradberry IV held their own with a combined 9 ints along with 18 pass breakups. RE M. Ingram III lead the team in sacks with 12 and our interior defensive lineman DT Buckner & Hurst combined with an impressive 16 sacks. The Steeler's know they have a young stud in LB Kwon Alexander to go along with veteran LB Nigel Bradham but the team most likely look in the draft or free agency to add more outside LB's to bring more pressure next season. Look for the Steeler's to be aggressive this off-season. The Steeler's have the core players to take the next step in making the playoffs and go deep if they can limit the turnovers and hit on some young talent in the draft and veterans in free agency. We expect the Steeler's to be a playoff team next season and a team you don't want to play. |

It was a tough season for the Ravens and Head Coach Frank Beamer, who made a shocking yet impactful decision to come out of retirement and return to coaching - this time in the NFL. Back at his introductory press conference, Beamer stated “I enjoy being out of the limelight and taking everything in these past few years since retiring from VT, but I have a passion for the game and want to continue to help the game progress in the NFL.” It was a bright moment for Virginia Tech’s most cherished football mind and coach - but one that most saw as a definite challenge at least for the immediate impact. The majority was right and it indeed was tough with some ups and many struggles, as the Ravens finished with a 2-14 record, with the only bright spot of landing a Top 5 draft pick this upcoming draft. There were flashes of excellence through the year such as the reliability of X-Factor Deandre Hopkins each week and Hunter Henry’s emergence as a go-to guy for the traveling former VT great Tyrod Taylor and some young guys on defense stepping up, such as Allen and Nwosu. However, there were many hard times of getting acclimated back to the game for both the coaching staff and some of the players in their uptick to full-time status - with injuries to key contributors Todd Gurley and Budda Baker the second half of the season as well, the outlook remained bleak. During the season, Baltimore did strike a deal that could help change some of the foundation of the team, shipping stud WR Allen Robinson away to the Jaguars in return for a 1st round draft pick and Terrell Edmunds, who was welcomed with open arms to the growing Virginia Tech brotherhood on the team. With now two of the top 5 draft picks in the upcoming draft, the Ravens hope to get some young talent that can continue to rebuild the team next year to make a steady climb of improvement. While expectations will still be limited with the adjustment of coming back to the game after so many years away for Coach Beamer and the team, there is definitely a good attitude in the locker room and a willingness to have fun and learn each and every time out on the field, while striving to be a class act organization of the league as a whole. Coach Beamer ended his last press conference of the year with a great quote, “Football is a lot like life, and you’re going to have disappointments. The issue is how you come back from them.” |

The panthers look to bounce back after taking a tough loss to the packers in the playoffs. QB kyler Murray didn’t have a great game but that doesn’t mean their offense isn’t dynamic. They still have King Henry in the back field with juju and devante at WR. Their defense is still elite but look to get an

The Phins season ended with a whimper after one of their poorest offensive outputs of the season on a snow covered field in western New York. The Dolphins secured a massive upset of the 17-0 Bengals in the AFC divisional round, but came in ill prepared against the eventual AFC Champion Bills. Despite the defeat, head coach Geralt of Rivia was more than pleased with the way the season panned out. “I gave up monster hunting to coach this team of rag tag individuals, and though we didn’t achieve our ultimate goal, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the universe,” said the former Witcher. Geralt’s contract was extended after a 10-6 season and AFC championship berth.
Defensive MVP: Von Miller - Miller was once again the NFL’s sack leader and a total force off the edge. The Dolphins featured a plethora of strong pass rushers on their d-line, but none more ferocious than the 30-year-old veteran and former superbowl MVP. Honorable mentions: QB Josh Rosen, TE Austin Hooper, DT Cameron Heyward, CB Avonte Maddox |

The Bucs has a roller coaster season finishing 9-7 and 2nd in the nfc south. Led by Andrew Luck on offense, who threw for 4,682 yards which was 2nd in the lg. Luck has a par of superstar wrs to throw to. Obj 1,886 yards with 14 tds and Kenny Golladay with 1500 yards and 11 tds. The running game was very lackluster, and the offensive coordinator has been replaced for it. James Connor and Gio Bernard amassed a lousy 1k yards combined. Return specialist Jakeem Grant enjoyed a great seasons until it was cut short by injury. Defensively Robert Quinn was our sack leader with 11. We are looking to dramatically raise that number by acquiring talent in the years draft. We had 3 players tie for the the team lead with 6 ints. More pressure on the qb should raise that total. |
