The bills went into week one looking to right the ship from last season but had a tough task at hand facing the rookie sensation Saquon Barkley and the ever dangerous Antonio Brown. The 1st qtr was slow one with the Bills holding possession for most of the qtr only to come away with 3pts on a Will Lutz fg to hold the early lead. In the 2nd quarter things began to heat up for both teams. Ravens struck 1st in the 2nd quarter when they found Taylor Gabriel for a deep pass along the left side line. Bills were forced to punt after their drive stalled. Ravens on the next possession they found the endzone for the second time after a long run by Barkley and leads 14-3 in the 2nd qtr. On the ensuing drive the Bills marched down the field lead by the rushing attack of Ezekiel Elliott. Ravens lead 17-10 going into the half. 3rd quarter was the let down for the Bills moving the ball well on offense but coming up short and was unable to get into the endzone. The Ravens hit on a deep pass to Antonio Brown to end the 3rd qtr and put the Ravens up 24-10. 4th qtr was another dissapointng qtr for the Bills as the Ravens defense clamped down to pick Cam Newton off 3 times. One of the interceptions was lucky for the Bills since it drive the defender into the endzone resulting in a saftey. Ravens would tack on one more touchdown late in the 4th quarter on a run by Barkley. Final score 31-12 Ravens. |

This was the beginning of something great for the Panthers. Expectations are now sky high with Lamar throwing for 257 and a TD with no turnovers. Guice introduced himself to the city with 3 TD's on the day. The defense made a statement after intercepting Tom Brady the GOAT 4 times. With trades happening at an alarming rate...does Lamar stay a Panther? |
