SBS is a community that we all have enjoyed for years, at its best we chat, play madden and have fun with each other. At its worst is toxic, passive aggressive and over the top with attacks at members.

In an attempt to limit some recent toxic developments, we all need to take a step back and redefine the line of what is appropriate in main chat.

1.    Stop antagonizing people. You may feel it all in good fun, they may not. You are responsible for not antagonizing someone. We all get mad, we all lose, we all get our balls busted at times. But the constant name calling, mocking, personal attacks need to stop
2.    No more third party comments during games about someone’s game play. Saying all the run is posts, outside runs, jukes, ect… is a passive aggressive approach and effects peoples games.
3.    The constant whining/excuses from people. it's so annoying to come on chat and see like 3 people per day say "this game is dumb",  "i don't care about madden at all".  which then gets people into a tizzy about the people who have success and how they "have no lives" , "exploit the game", etc.
4.    Stop commenting on people’s styles... we all play madden for different reasons and we all have the freedom to play a certain way. If you are concerned they are breaking the rules then PM (Spookie) but stop commenting on their style in main chat.

This is not a good look for our main chat especially with new owners coming in. If you need to do this cause you are just an unavoidable prick. Then do it in a DM to me, I don’t look at them half the time any ways. We do have power to ban people from chat. You will be warned once and if you continue in that manner you will be ban from chat for a period of time.

As someone who can be an asshole in chat sometimes, i know how annoying this is because people have told me about it. If you have a complaint moving forward, please bring it to me. I of all people  know it's hard not to call people out in chat if you think they're wronged you or done something you dont like. BUT we are a community and need to tone down the pessimism and negativity. Bring any complains you have about an owners chat behavior or playstyle to me from here on out and i will put it in the permanent behavior file in NY.
