[Philadelphia Eagles] ([17.64 Free]) send:
[80] [QB] [Carson Wentz]
[24], [Normal]
[26.70 Mill] / [4 Years] (in 2nd year), [13.11 Cap Pen]

Jags send 2018 1st and 3rd round picks.

Jaguars get a replacement for Bortles and Eagles get a chance to improve a very average team through the draft.

Denied.  Cannot justify this trade.

Trade Denied.

I believe this is fair value for Carson Wentz as a player but feel that the cap hit drastically changes things.

Honestly a cap hit of 13 million is excessively high- its a lot of dead money for a team to handle. Essentially, its the equivalent of an above average starter.

For that reason, I have to reject the trade as its currently constructed. I can understand the rationale for the trade by both sides, but the return from mesko needs to be overwhelming in order to justify the trade on jstan's side to account for a young, good QB + 13 million in dead money.

Mesko either needs to add players or more picks.

As it is currently constructed, I veto the deal.
