Okay everyone, it's still early but never too early to start discussing our future plans with this league and ways to make it bigger and better next season, now that we commishes have some experience to build on and will be starting the league much sooner next football season. To start with, I want to do a general inquiry to see when people are planning on getting the game (launch day, a little after, or waiting till an extreme price drop) as well as what the league prefers when it comes to selecting teams.

As most of you have seen in the Groupme chat, we have proposed the idea of doing a formal team draft while giving three users the option of having first dibs due to unfortunate proceedings in the 2018 season playoffs. However, if we do a team draft, regardless of your spot you will need to provide a list of preferred teams (probably no less than your top 15 teams, but you're welcome to rank all 30). The purpose of this list is to be able to select a team you like in case you can't be present for a team draft, as we won't able to accommodate everyone's schedules for this.

Instead of doing a poll, simply reply to this post with the following information:
1) Will you be getting Madden 18? If so, when? An estimated time is fine.
2) Would you prefer a team draft? If so, would you prefer the draft order be announced in advance or announce the order as we go?
3) Provide your list of teams in order of most preferred to least preferred.

Obviously we still have a great deal of time before we start next year's league and therefore don't need to rush things. However, if you don't provide a list of teams for the draft then you will drop to the bottom of the draft order when your pick is due.

Hopefully this is relatively straightforward, but I will reply to the post as well as an example.

AFTER release, the first patch is normally Week 1 with all the roster moves and practice squad. Best to start after this patch.
