We have been running leagues since madden 09! Never have had league go less than 8 seasons! Need one more before we start final league before madden 18! Hit me up to join, we do have strict rulebook!

Rules For Sim Ftball:

Penalties:

Penalties for minor offenses: if caught on tape breaking minor rule draft picks will be removed. Fourth round pick for first offense, third round pick for second offense, second round pick for third offense plus declared loss rest of season. If you break all offenses in two seasons you will be removed instantly. If you get ten total minor offenses in general you will be instantly removed and blocked forever.

Penalties for major offenses: if you break a major rule on tape you will get one strike, if it's serious enough we will boot based off our discretion. If it's not major enough you will be given warning if it happens again we will remove and block permanently.

In Game Rules : Must record all infractions for it to count as an infraction, you can be fined based off of your own recordings.
Minor infraction:

Goal Line: No goal line offense or defense outside red zone, this includes heavy package. You must have at least one wide receiver on field unless inside of the twenty yard line. Exception: quarterback sneak is only play aloud out of this package when not in the redzone, however if you call this there is no audibles aloud so use at your discretion.

Situational: third down and fifteen or longer you must call checkdown play( example screen, slants, quick outs, runs). Exceptions, down by fourteen or more or losing in fourth. If you receive ball before half or end of game with under thirty seconds inside your own thirty yard line you must take a knee. Exceptions, losing by fourteen or more in first half or losing at all at end of game.

Kneel down: If tied at end of game and under thirty seconds left inside own thirty, a knee still must be taken. If you get ball with more than this time allowed or past the thirty yard line unless already in field goal range you may not run the ball or run play action. If you are trying to score before half you must actually try to score. Teams do not run ball for no reason, either go for the score or take a knee.

Offensive play call allotment: You must mix up formations and play calls. On offense you can run a play maximum twice.  Must be in opposite halves of game. Concept wise you can run maximum four, one a quarter. Concept means tosses, draws, four verts, running back screens, wide receiver screens, all slants, all curls, read option, etc…THIS EXCLUDES HAIL MARY AT END OF HALF!

Defensive play call allotment: On defense you must mix up as well, the max you can run any base defense meaning two man under, cover one, cover two, cover three, cover four, cover six is five times. These still must be mixed throughout the game. No particular blitz may be ran more than three times in a game. You may blitz or play base for majority as long as long as different plays and doesn’t go over allowed plays.

Playmaker: playmaker can only be used when feet are planted and or running same direction as player you are using playmaker on. If you are running backwards or opposite directions and you use playmaker it is a violation.

Play action: play action may not be abused and can not be ran more than two to one ratio of runs to play action calls. Meaning if you ran ball ten times max play actions you can run is five. No play action on third and seven or longer anytime in game. This includes calling play action then audibling rb or whoever in backfield to block is still not aloud  We don’t abuse the artificial intelligence of the game.

Respect: you must respect opponents, no running up score. If you force a turnover you may run back for touchdown. If you are up by three scores with less than four minutes left in game, you may not throw the football. If they can come back from down seventeen points with that little time left then that was destined to happen and would have happened in real life. Once you have this lead under that time you still run the ball, even if team gets it under seventeen. You may trash talk opponent, but verbal abuse will not be tolerated. Racial slurs or harassment will not be tolerated and are major violations. If you have issue with opponent record and bring to myself or co-commissioners.You must send a good game message after every game to opponent no matter what, this is like a handshake by coaches at end of game. If you are in party together in can be verbal good game as well.

Kickoffs: Kickoffs must be kicked to max capacity, not kicked high. Squib kicks only allowed under 20 seconds either half.
Trick plays: Trick plays in playbook, including flea flickers, rb and wr passes and reverses etc.. can only be ran once a game. You may try multiple trick plays but not same one throughout game. This excludes fake punt or field goals, which are banned completely.

Abusive gimmicks: one step drop passes only aloud on quick slants, curls, or screens. Abusing routes all game is not allowed whether its play call or hot routes. Similar routes can be called but not be first read throughout the game.

In game penalization: If you run play action on third and seven or longer, run goal line outside of red zone, or go deep on third and fifteen or longer and you convert, you must instantly punt the ball away and fair catch must be called. If your opponent refuses to do so, record the clip tell them they have to and if they do not dashboard the game and we will give you the victory and they will be punished as well, based off of our violations and penalties. Please record.

Hurry up: hurry up will only be allowed inside two minutes first half, losing by fourteen or more in fourth, losing under two min in fourth, or right at end of game or half if trying to score.

Chew clock button: chew clock only allowed inside two minutes either half.

Fake snaps: max two per drive if drive goes longer than eight plays, otherwise one per drive. No double fake snaps on same play.

Pre Snap: No dropping players back pre snap, you can shift alignments on defense and move forward into gaps but cant line players up at wrong position presnap( this excludes trying to time the snap with a blitzing player).

Flip plays: Can only flip play once presnap, can only motion player max two times pre snap, and can't abuse motion throughout game.

Rollout: you can only roll out of pocket without pressure a max of twice per game, unless designed rollout. If getting pressured or designed rollout, it is allowed as long as not abused. Please record if rollout more than twice without pressure it is an infraction.

Press: Don't abuse the press feature, teams use in certain situations in real life but not all the time. Please record if anyone abuses this feature.
Backoff coverage: don't abuse backoff coverage. This does not refer to prevent, just meaning in general don't overly pull your guys off the line. Please record if anyone abuses this feature.

Prevent defense: The prevent package that is in all defensive playbooks can only be used in two situations. These situations are right before half on final drive, or final drive of game.

Hail Mary: You can only use the Hail mary plays on the final drive before half, of the end of game drive if losing. You must be past the thirty-five yard line( sixty-five yards from end zone) to attempt this play at those specified times.

Major infractions:

Fourth down: fourth and inches past fifty, fourth quarter and losing, or down seventeen anytime in game.

Field goals: No blocking field goals or extra points whatsoever.
Punts: Punt blocks only allowed inside the five yard line. Punts must travel at least thirty-five yards unless monsoon wind(ten to fifteen miles against you) , and must be in air at least three seconds.

Onside kicks: No onside kicks unless losing in fourth quarter.

Two point attempts: Two point conversions only in fourth quarter. The conversion has to make game a three point game, seven point game,ten point game, seventeen point, twenty point, or tie game or increments of seven(fourteen, twenty-one ,twenty-eight ,etc). If you come out in a two point attempt accidentally before the fourth quarter you must take a time out or take delay of game.

Glitches: No nano blitzing or glitches of any kind will be permitted( other glitches will be addressed if apparent on new madden version).

Blitzing: You must rush at least three every play unless play in book sends less.

Game Drop: If game disconnects, you must reset situation exactly. Example being if up 21-7 with three minutes left in half, make score 14-0 and take knees until time that was remaining in half. If you can't work out reset message commissioners, if one party refuses to reset and other is attempting to we will declare win accordingly.

Quitting: No quitting in first half no matter what. You may quit in third quarter if losing by thirty or more, but must pause quit. You may also quit in fourth quarter no matter what score as long as you pause quit. No dashboard quitting at any time if you do this you will be fined a draftpick.

Playing cpu: absolutely no playing the cpu EVER. If someone quits against you or we have open team, we will declare win.

Out Of Game Rules:

Player movement:  You may move any player to new position at your discretion. However wrs may only be allowed to move to tight end if over age of thirty-two or if speed below an eighty-five. Wrs may be changed to rb but can not run ball more than ten times per game. Tight ends can become wrs if they have eighty-eight plus speed. Linebackers and safeties can only swap positions if under two hundred-thirty-five pounds.  Corners and safeties can be swapped anytime, defensive ends and linebackers can swap anytime. Defensive tackles and defensive ends can swap. Kickers and punters can not swap unless an injury to either occurs, once injury is over they must return to natural position. Quarterbacks can only be quarterbacks. Running backs can be wide receivers. Offensive lineman can be any position on the line, or defensive lineman and offensive line can swap. Defensive tackles, defensive ends, running backs, and tight ends can be fullbacks. Corners and wide receivers can swap. Offensive line and tight ends can also swap.

Depth chart changes: You can't just change player positions on depth chart. There are a few exceptions. Defensive ends at linebacker or vice versa, corners at safey and vice versa, defensive ends at defensive tackle and vice versa, running backs at full back and vice versa, fullback at tight end and vice versa, are allowed any time on depth chart.

Trades: no trading with cpu is allowed, if you make a trade you instantly need to message me for approval. We will not reverse unless lopsided by ridiculous margins. You do not have to wait for approval to make trade, just realize we will be evaluating and if unfair might affect salary cap, so be smart.

Draft picks: Draft picks will be limited to three per round max. You may not go over this at any time. No draft parties( meaning no helping people with their drafts).

Custom Playbooks: Custom Playbooks will be allowed this year, however if you break any of the play calling rules it is on you. If you use a custom book it must be extensive enough for you to follow every rule in our guidelines.

Contacting Rules: Messaging opponent: you must send proper message to opponent to set up game time. If you send first message it should read, we play in (league name) when can you play? I can play (insert time frame), let me know. If you respond to this message and were not first to send out, response should be as followed. That time(see above time opponent gave out works), or none of those times are good for me, this is my times i can play( insert time here). At this point you should message back and forth in correct manner until you can set time that works for both opponents. If you can not settle on time it will be simmed. Message does not have to be exactly in this format, but needs to be in similar stature. If this becomes an issue it will need to be exactly in this format.

Messaging commissioner: As soon as you send first message to opponent, you need to message Whyyoubug mmo( messaged my opponent)! As soon as you respond to first message if you did not send out yourself, you need to message Whyyoubug mmo. If message was not sent either to opponent correctly or responded correctly, message Whyyoubug again, and provide screenshots of said messages. If one or both parties did not message correctly, it will be at Whyyoubugs or my discretion whether or not game gets simmed, or declared win either way!

Recordings: All clips recorded, and classified as minor or major violations will be sent by myself or Whyyoubug, and rest of the panel for review. If majority feel this is sufficient to fine user for his actions, that player who performed the violation will be fined appropriately.

Panel: We will have a committee of five users that will decide punishments and determine rules for the leagues. Myself and Whyyoubug will handle all complaints but will not decide on weather severe enough to punish without majority from the panel. The panel consists of myself, Whyyoubug, Goone, Beezy, and Joed.
