Do we have to use the Url export in the companion app every time we want to update the scores and rosters and so on? If so that's a pain.  Or will there be a sync button like before.

Yes this is how you will have to do it now. Its not really that much different than before, instead of being a sync button on site, there is an export button on app. Not that much different. In order to update rosters, scores, etc before you still had to hit a button. Which is what your doing in the app now. This is how EA set it up to work. It will not change back to a sync button on site.
