We have had a good start to Madden 17. It always is an adjustment to what Madden throws at us. I am sure we will find out more in resigns and the offseason. I appreciate everyone playing their games and being active for season 1. Thankful for the extra time and effort the Admins have put into the life of SBS. Truly couldn’t do what we do without them. I believe the competition level is at an all-time high. We have added a few new members who have been a positive enhancement to overall league. Thanks guys for being here and hope you enjoy SBS, we will work at being more welcoming and help you through learning curves of what SBS is all about.
Ok now a few things we need to work on… First Slack… its been a toxic place for some while… we promote our league as a community and we encourage participation but we have crossed many lines, many times. Admins will and can give you temporary boots for personal attacks, unwilling to back off, or attacks of gameplay specifically when someone is playing a game and you are watching. This behavior has to stop immediately! Consider this your first warning. Temporary boots will be quick and swift.
We should all be able to have fun, poke at each other from time to time, rip of real teams, compare AFC vs NFC without it being personal. If that happens both sides need to stop and let it go. Have fun, enjoy the community.
Secondly, accusations/game play complaints must be only submitted to us (Admins) after a 24 hour period and must have video with it. We strongly recommend you stream and archive all games. It truly only protects you
Thirdly, some of you guys are going through hard times in real life, please let us know we would love to help and support you. I know Tibbs, Dooks, myself and others are around just to talk… SBS cares and its important you let us know so you know you are not alone.
Finally Kingpick6, I have been reviewing his games, the youtube videos in question, talking to many owners. Spookie did everything right to bring it up to us and for us to review it. Within years pass this was more of an issue of “nano’s” and youtube nonsense. Kingpick has always been innovated in defenses and offense. Sometimes they have been borderline (WR lock) but I do believe he has always been respectful to SBS. I do apologize to the league for not taking more time to review this matter, run all tests and help everyone move on better. I want KP to be able to play his games going forward without further assumptions or accusations. The bottom line here was the play or plays run cheese, unstoppable, a glitch… And after all my testing I do not believe they are. Yes none of us should be running plays we find verbatim off of youtube because of the assumptions and the association of it being cheese. But it is my responsibility to make sure these things are handled better and I did not.

This is great, Dan. Thanks for posting it. All of us caring this much about how this league operates is why we've been able to successfully keep this ship afloat this long. I think Slack chat has gotten a bit better in the past few weeks. I think maybe people are starting to see how much it's gone too far so often?

Regardless, it's been a great start to M17 and I'm excited to see what we're gonna see this offseason.
