All Madden 7 Minute Quarters with 25 second run off XP sliders custom (We'll play with this as we go) Gameplay Sliders will be default year one Injury 15 Min Speed Threshold 50 Fatigue 50

Regular Rosters

General Setup: 32 Teams, Regular Rosters League with Salary Cap - You must Create a Coach - No stock coaches allowed. This will be a user friendly league, meaning be fair to each other. We're all here for one reason or another, but most importantly, we want to have fun. I don't want to see the chat being blown up with insults and throwing people under the bus. If there's something in question, come to me or an admin. Be respectful.

Close Game: A close game is defined as the game being with 10 points or less. 17-7, 24-14, 10-0 etc etc. Remember this. I don't want to here how the game disconnected in the 3rd quarter in a "close" game when you're losing by 21.

Scheduling: Advance is every Monday/Wednesday/Friday unless we work something else out. With school back in session, people having jobs, and us just having lives, it's important to have a strict schedule. Things come up, I understand. Contact your opponent within 24 hours of any given week. Send multiple messages if they're not responding. Be prepared to show evidence of attempted contacts (e.g. GroupME screenshots, email forwards, etc) in the event I need to give you a force win.

Gameplay Rules Playcalling: Mix it up. That is all I ask for. Don't just run 5 wide and toss. Throw in some ace singleback, some Ifrom, a little bit of shotgun, etc. I'm not going to be a nazi about it, just mix it up some. Don't call the same play 5 times in a row, too. That dampens the experience.

DO NOT RUN UP THE SCORE!!! 49 Points or more is the limit in a BLOWOUT (a score along the lines of 42-14 or something like that. In a game that was semi close 56 points is acceptable, so a score like 55-27 is an acceptable game. A score of 70-10 IS NOT OKAY!! If you're in a back and forth match, of course you can win 65-49 or any variation of a high scoring game.

DO NOT STAT PAD! This goes into the rule above. I've been in leagues where guys will score 70 points on the league's worst user. They'll throw 8 TD's, five to one WR, and run for 2 TD's. This is not football. If stat padding is present, be prepared for suspension of user and suspension of players.

Suspension Details: First Time Offense: Warning/One Week Suspension if stat padding Second Time Offense: One Week Suspension AND Suspension of key player(s) (Depends if stat padding is present for player suspension) Third Time Offense: Ban Warning and two week Suspension. You'll be monitored CLOSELY and potentially kicked. *Fourth Time Offense: You're gone and I personally will let my other CFM buddies know not to add you.

indicates a fourth offense may not always be given.
4th Down Rules: You must punt or kick the field goal except in the following situations: 1. Anytime in the 4th quarter when losing you can go for it 2. If you are losing by 17 points or more at any time you can go for it in on 4th and 5 or less. 3. 4th & 2 while on the 50 or beyond, you can go for it at anytime unless you are up by more than one score. 4. 4th & 1 you can for it from your 40 and beyond. If you're on your 39, YOU CANNOT GO FOR IT. As we all know, Madden is an offense friendly game. This is a way to honor GOOD defense.

Special Teams: NO fakes allowed unless the game is within one score or less. Meaning, if it's the 2nd quarter and you're up 10-7, you can do a fake but it has to be within two yards of the first down marker. If you're losing 10-7, same rule applies to you. You cannot do a fake FG/Punt if it's 4th & 5. Has to be within 2 yards of the first down marker.

If you're up 17-7, you CANNOT do a fake. You can do a fake anytime you are losing by 17 or more.

Dynamic Down: This is a one time decision to go for it anywhere. You can fake it on 4th & goal on your opponents 5. You can go for it on 4th & 7 on the 30. Just don't be dumb with it. And remember, if you're winning 35-10 and your opponent stops you short of the marker, be respectful. Ask yourself, would an NFL coach go for it here? No, you punt, ever if you have a Dynamic Down still to use.

No Huddle Rules: You can no huddle at random whenever in the game. If you're going to do it multiple plays in a row, you can only do that ONCE per drive except when the following applies: 1. If you are down by 17 points, you can go no-huddle at any rate 2. If you are down by 9 points or more in 4th quarter you can go no-huddle at any rate 3. If you are in last 3 minutes of the 1st or 2nd half, you can go no-huddle at any rate

MUST RUSH AT LEAST THREE PLAYERS EVERY DOWN: No what ifs. No excuses. QB contain rushers count as rushers. If you want to QB contain with both of your DE's and rush the DT, that is acceptable. QB spy does not count as a rusher.

Two Point Conversion Rule: There is none. Teams go for it, teams don't go for it. It's up to you. There's risk and reward. Do your homework on your opponent as to whether you should be aggressive or not.

Onside Kick Rule: Onside Kicks are not allowed unless 1. You're losing by 17 or more 2. It's the beginning of the 2nd half and it's a close game (within 10 pts) 3. 4th Quarter and you're down by 7 or more points.

Do not use clock run off in the 1st and 3rd quarters UNLESS there's an emergency or you're trying to fit a game into a tight window before work/class. You HAVE to let your opponent know beforehand and they have to agree to it.

Blitzing: As of now, there is no rule of blitzing. If an opponent sees "suspicious" activity where his blocker continuously whiffs the defender, he can alert an admin and submit video. We don't have rule on moving players around. Don't try to ruin that for everyone else. If somebody wants to stack the box, they can. This gives us playcalling freedom. If there's any abuse this will become a rule.

Disconnection Rules NO QUITTING: Never intentionally disconnect, quit, or otherwise cause lag or a desync or excessive grieving. If there's any problems in your game, speak to your opponent THEN an admin. If it goes unresolved, we'll take your video in account and see if there's any fraudulent activity. Quitting results in automatic suspension.

REPLAYING A DISCONECT: Work it out with your opponent to best recreate the game. If the game drops in the 4th quarter and you're up by 20, you'll get the win. If there's 5 minutes to go in a close game and your opponent has ball, we're redoing this one to where your opponent gets a 10 point lead to start the 1st quarter. If you don't make up the difference by the time the quarter is over, you lose.

Position Changes: All position changes are welcome EXCEPT: 1. WR to TE Causes cheese in the passing game 1B. TE to WR Cheeses the run game for sweeps 2. WR to HB WR's are generally faster. Just because you want to run toss all game, doesn't mean it's allowed 3. CB to Safety Prevents building "Auto" secondaries and devalues safeties. 4. Safety to LB Cheeses the offense by putting more speed and man coverage ability at LB The OL and front 7 is INTERCHANGEABLE.

If you have a good case to move a S to LB or CB to S, our committee would be willing to hear it. 99% chance it doesn't work though.

Admins: There will be options to become an admin. As of now, it's just me and another guy. I potentially will add another before the season begins. By the end of Season 1, I will add 2-3 Admins. By Season 2, we may add 2-3 more. We will form a competition committee to oversee the league's operations and discuss new rules/removal of rules. Most importantly, the committee will vote on TRADES.

TRADES: Every trade is voted on. Don't try to sneak one through because we will check the trade transaction screen daily.

Dropping and Signing Players: Any attempt to drop and sign a player more cheaply results in the player in question being released and a suspension. We're not going to put up with people trying to circumvent the salary cap. Also changing a players position to sign him cheap then changing him back will result in loss of player and suspension. This league is to have fun. We all play by the same rules.
