Players will not take years less than what they are asking when trying to resign to your team. They will accept less in FA market, but not during resigning stage. It doesn't matter how much you offer, they won't resign. |

This isn't exactly 100% true... I thought it was, until literally this morning when I had a lower rated TE accept 5%(ish) less than fair value. |

I don't mean fair value, I mean strictly years. If a player is asking for 4 years, he won't accept a 3 year contract, no matter how much you add and make it worth. He will accept a 3 year contract (when asking for 4) in Free Agency, but not for resigning with your team. |
