Over a decade of Madden experience.  At this time of year the developing team have moved on to the next Madden and all that's left is the year round MUT team to keep those card sales pumping.

That shouldn't be indicative of their app status though since one would assume the app will be used in upcoming versions.

Yet it is.  The app would be a selling point for an upcoming Madden since the buzz is already there.

Also, I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if EA is working on their own version of Daddy Leagues.  They LOVE rolling over the hard working middle men.  It's their "thing".

To be honest this is a thought that crossed my mind, too. And it would 100% explain the delays and secrecy on this whole "the app is there but it's not but definitely will be" thing.

99 days and we still don't have any news of when the app will be dropping. Really has sucked the life out of my league not being able to check DL for stats..

IF EA was going to put out their own version of daddyleagues they would have done so after Xfn tanked. EA already has its own connected franchise site. Does it compare with daddyleagues? Of course not but make no mistake about it they are not in the business of competing with daddyleagues. Daddy leagues is already established with the Madden community

True. Until EA delays a new version of the Madden Franchise Site - that's when I start thinking they might be upgrading it to make it able to compare and compete with DL.
