If we want to adopt any of these rules I am cool with it.

RULES

I. General

A.  Link your number to EA's Madden site to receive the updates they provide.
B.  Perhaps the most important rule you'll read on this page, DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE.

II. Settings

A. All-Madden difficulty, 8 minute quarters, 20sec accelerated clock, Fatigue, Injuries, Weather are all On.
B. Trades are on. No trading with any CPU teams.
C. No filling CPU teams after Week 10
D. New owners must join as a created owner or real life coach.
E. Custom Playbooks are allowed.
F. Defensive graphics, kicking arc, and toggle cameras should be set to OFF.

III. Scheduling

A. Owners are expected to schedule on the day/night of advance.  Not responding to texts concerning scheduling leads to the commissioner getting involved, which I'm not fond of.  You're all responsible people, act like it.
B. No computer games will be awarded on day of advance.  If an owner is unable to play, the commish must be notified of the impending computer game the day before advance.
C. If you are contacted and are not able to play, respond so promptly.

IV. Roster

A. All signings, trades, releases, etc have an effect on your salary cap.  If you're unfamiliar with the salary cap and how it works, ask.  It's a lot easier to explain it than try and fix your mistakes.
B. You are allowed 3 trades a season.
C. All trades need to be proposed in the forum.  There is a proposal example, FOLLOW IT.  All required info is needed before trades will be voted on.
D. Trades need approval from 3 trade mods to be finalized.
E. No new member is allowed to trade until after they have played 4 games.
F. Your 2 highest WR's must be at the top of your depth chart.  TE/HB should be no higher than 4 on the WR chart.
G. No HB is allowed at FB unless they are under 80 speed.
H. You may not offer a contract longer than 4 years to a player under 80ovr unless they specifically ask for it(drafted rookies)

V. Gameplay

A. Mix up your playcalling.  Don't run Cover 2 Man all game.  Don't run outside runs all game.  Incorporate a variety of passing routes.  You get the picture.
B. Any players set in motion pre-snap are to return to a set stance before hiking the ball.
C. For running plays, run the play as designed.  Don't bounce outside just because you have a 98 speed RB.  If the designed hole is clogged, that is when you can look elsewhere to run.
D. Killing the clock is to be reserved for the last 2 minutes of each half.
E. New Hurry Up, No Huddle Rule(HUNH)- You are allowed to run HUNH for 3 consecutive plays.  After the third play, you must return to a huddle.  This will be allowed unless you are leading by 14 or more points.  This does not effect the 2 minute offense.  I do not expect this to be abused.  Good players can and will adjust.
F. 4th Down Rules
4th and 1+ in your territory = PUNT
4th and 1+ in opponent territory = ALLOWED TO GO UNLESS UP 14+
If losing in 3rd quarter and losing by 14+ = PUNT RESTRICTION LIFTED
If losing in 4th quarter by any amount = PUNT RESTRICTION LIFTED.  IF YOU ARE
DOWN BY 3 OR LESS AND IN FG RANGE, YOU MUST KICK FG
G. Scrambling- QB dropbacks should be no deeper than 10 yards.  Scramble only after making all your reads or if receiving immediate pressure.
H. No controlling blockers on kick and punt returns.  This includes bringing a blocker back on punt returns.
I. Pre-snap - Only 1 player that is designed to rush the QB is allowed to be moved manually.  You may shift using the L1 and R1 commands for DLine and LBs.  Safeties are not to be moved inside the LB box.  No moving players around in circles pre-snap.Text dooks when you've read the rules page. No fake blitzes(Start to rush the passer, then drop back into coverage). DLine is allowed to be dropped into coverage, but you must have 3 rushers every play. A QB Spy is not considered a rusher, but a QB Contain is.
J. Goal Line- Goal Line Formations are to only be used when there is less than 3 yards to a 1st down or inside the opponent's 10 yard line.
K. 2 Point Conversion- Only allowed in 2nd Half and to make the deficit or lead 3, 7, 10, or 14 points.
L. When punting, do not lower the arrow all the way and kick a directional punt to induce an uncatchable ball that bounces 20 yards.

VI. Playing versus computer

A. In the event you play the CPU, you are allowed:
350 yards and 4TDs with QB
     150 yards and 3TDs with HB/WR
ONE emergency restart.  This is not to be abused.  If you have to restart due to a
season ending injury to a QB, server/connection problem, etc., document it with a pic
or vid.  Abusing this is grounds for booting.

VII. Courtesy

A. Running up the score- If you are leading by 28+ in the first 3 quarters, run the ball and pass only on 3rd down.  If you are leading by 21+ in the 4th quarter, run the ball on all downs.
B. Quitting is intolerable.  Both parties are spending an hour of their time for a game.  Don't waste yours or your opponent's time. Quitting is grounds for booting.
C. We were all taught the Golden Rule in elementary school.  Use it.  If you treat someone like a douche, expect to be treated like one back.
D. If you feel anyone is not following the rules during a game, document it with pics or vid.  He said, She said is no fun and I have no solid evidence to base a judgement with.
E. We're all here to have fun.  If something wouldn't happen on Sunday in the NFL, it shouldn't happen here.  With that said, just because something is allowed on Sunday, doesn't necessarily mean it's allowed here. This is a SIM league and it will stay that way.  All these rules are here for a reason.  If you can't adhere to them, don't join.
