I. General/Settings
A. Difficulty and Presets
- All-Pro difficulty.
- 25 accelerated clock.
- Default Sliders.
- Create an Owner only.
- Relocation has to go through the Admins
- The Kicking Arc CAN be turned on.
- The Defensive Graphics should be OFF. If you are found to have it on, you could receive a four-game suspension.
- 48 Hour Advance – 10pm Eastern

B. Team Relocation
Relocation has to go through the Admins

C. Custom playbooks
Custom playbooks are allowed.

D. Team Switching/Swapping
Two team owners may swap teams if they are both vested owners and are in very good standing with the league.
Team switching to vacant teams will come at the league's discretion.

E. Depth Chart
Be realistic. We don't want WR's at TE, and any HB over 87 SPD cannot be played at FB. Violation of these depth chart rules will result in the owner being put on auto for the current week's game.
See-  VII Position switching

F. Autopilot
You will NOT be allowed to go on auto unless you have a legit reason. You may not sit out because your season may be over. You signed up to play a 16+ game season. Period. If it is proven that your opponent has asked to be auto'd due to not being able to play, then and only then will he be auto'd.

G. Fund Buffer
At the end of the season and you are under 10 million funds ask an admin and we will bring you back up to 10 million at the end of the season. If you are constantly under the buffer every season we won’t continue to bring you back to 10 million. Usually this is because of bad pricing, cap penalties and overpaying in FA.

II. Communicating
A. Twitter
A Twitter account is required. It connects to PS4 for streaming and pics. It's also an easy way of communication. A no brainer in terms of everything in one place.
B. Scheduling
It is both teams' responsibility to make the effort to schedule a game. The attempt should be made within 40 hours of the last advance through Twitter OR Text. If neither party can come to a solid game time, then the game could be simulated. If you cannot schedule your game due to unreasonable hours of availability the team available during normal hours of the day will get to play cpu. You will NOT get a CPU game without text message / Twitter evidence that your opponent did not respond or cannot play.
During playoffs, barring a very special circumstance, we will be on a 24 hour advance schedule.

C. Broadcasting
Every game is encouraged to be broadcasted and streamed for the rest of the league to see. Everyone should have their team Twitter accounts linked to their PSN accounts so that the link can be automatically posted when the broadcast is started. Make sure one person streams and the other person hosts if you're gonna stream. If there are complaints about streaming it would be easier for action to be taken if you saved your past broadcasts or another person watching the stream saw unsim play.
Every playoff game is required to be broadcasted. The PS4 has made it extremely easy to stream, but we understand connectivity issues.

III. Sportsmanship
A. Harrassement
We will not tolerate blatantly bashing other members, whether on public league chat or in private text message. If anyone is found to be doing this, they will be dealt with, depending on the severity. If you have an issue with someone, bring it to an admins attention and vent to them, not out in the open.
Whether it's through DM, text or publicly on twitter continually harassing someone will get you an automatic suspension with proof.

Calling people out on twitter is not allowed and could lead to a game suspension if it continues by a specific owner. Calling someone out that called someone out is not allowed. Instigating is not allowed. Name calling is not allowed either. If you have issues take it up with the targeted person privately. Don't complain about unsim play either, just DM an admin, this falls under twitter spats as well.
Personal attacks wont be tolerated AT ALL. We are a family, a community in here and we are here to have fun.

B. User vs CPU
For CPU games, you should play the entire game, but there will be stat limits.
All CPU games are highly encouraged to be played in it's entirety and people that break or tie records and/or break the CPU Limits will be held accountable supersim or not.

Points vs CPU limit is 48
INDIVIDUALS STAT LIMITS:
QB - 400 Yards 4 TDs
HB - 30 Attempts, 175 Yards, 3 TDs
WR - 9 Catches, 200 Yards, 3 TDs
Defensive players: 4 sacks
DEFENSE AND OFFENSE LIMITS:
Offense - CPU offensive yards limit is 500 yards
Defense - 8 sacks. From this point, only rush 3 for the remainder of the game
These New Limits are generous, there should be no excuse for breaking them. If people break these the penalty will be high. Higher limits Higher penalties
The goal is to get in and out of the game with as less gaudy stats as possible. I still don't want to see 48-6 scores w/ CPU.
No single-game records should be flirted with being broken in a CPU game. Period.
Advance will NOT be held up for User v. CPU games unless they contact Los Council.

We can SIM a win for you, but that is a risk of injury and lack of drive goals. If you want a SIM win it will be given on a case by case basis. We want you to play your games.

C. Quiting/Disconnects
- If you rage quit a game, you are done. This should be a league full of mature players, and rage quitting will NOT be tolerated. Idc if your cat tripped over a goddamn wire, it doesn’t happen 3 games in a row too. If a player is playing unrealistic, finish the game out and RECORD IT. If you don't record it, then I have nothing to go off of besides the box score.

- Disconnect
1st half disconnect, 13 points or less difference restart, 14 or more difference is recreated.
3rd quarter disconnect with less than 25 point difference is recreated. With a 25 points or more difference in the second half the winner plays CPU.
4th quarter disconnect with 17 or less difference is recreated. More than 17 difference, winner plays CPU.

- If you are experiencing lag in your game, figure out what you want to do about it with your opponent early in the game, not when you go down 21-0. If it takes a three touchdown deficit for you to realize that your game is laggy, then no dice senior.

D. Records
If we see single game records being contested every single week, your stay in the Los Madden League will not be very long.

E. Blowouts
If you're up big and you pick it off and can score, We don’t make anybody drop on a pick six, because that just doesn't happen IRL. That being said, a 60-10 score will probably result in somebody getting suspended. The accelerated clock is here for you in the cases of those games that get out of hand to make it easier to run the clock.
Scoring over 63 points is prohibited. The last time this many points were put up IRL was the 60's. If you and your opponent somehow end up in a shootout that would require you to score over 63 in a game with 8 min quarters with accelerated clock on, then you both need to learn how to play defense.

IV. Offense
A. No Huddle
Using no huddle is allowed but not the whole game. Using it the majority of a game is considered abuse and is not accepted. You are also required to allow the play clock to reach 25 seconds before snapping the ball. This does not apply in two-minute offense situations. There will be no no-huddling to run plays more than a couple times in a game. Obviously this does happen IRL, but not throughout the entire game.

B. 4th Down
You are allowed to go for it on 4th IF:
•    Inside your opponent's 5 yard line. ANYTIME
•    PAST the 50 yard line with 4th and 2 or closer, twice per game.
•    Tied in the 4th quarter past your own 40, 4th and 3 or less.
•    Losing by 21 pts or more after the 1st half, anywhere on the field.
•    Losing by 35 pts or more at any time, anywhere on field.
•    Losing by 2 possessions (9-16 pts) or more in the 4th quarter.
•    Losing by 1 possession (1-8 pts) in the 4th quarter with less than 5 minutes remaining.
•    OT: You may go for it on 4th and 2 or shorter, anywhere on the field, ONCE.
•    Playoffs: You may go for it on 4th and 5 with the ball past the 50 twice. Playoff games will be judged on a case to case basis.

C. Play Calling
Overusing the same plays and routes throughout the whole game. This includes offense and defense hot-routes. With proof there will be an automatic owner suspension. If three or more people complain about play abuse for that owner, that owner will get an automatic owner suspension.
You MUST mix up your play calling, formation sets and do not abuse money plays. No play out of the same formation should be run more than 3-4 times a game.

D. Play Ratio
Your pass-to-run/run-to-pass ratio should not exceed 3:1.
Violations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

E. Play abuse
(This includes Offense and Defense).
Defense will have a lot longer leash.
If three or more people complain about play abuse for that owner, that owner will get an automatic owner suspension.

F. Chew Clock Feature
The ONLY time you should be using the Chew Clock feature in the game is if you are actually trying to kill the clock in a realistic situation, or in a blowout. We’ve heard a few cases where guys are running this just casually in the game. No more.
3 mins to go in the 2nd.
Last 5 mins of the 4th.
These are exeptable times to use Chew Clock.

V. Defense
A. Nano Blitzes and Oline manipulation
We understand sometimes the OL will act stupid and miss a blitzer altogether. That being said, anyone deliberately nano-blitzing will be subject to suspension or possibly being banned.
Nano blitzing is when you are taking advantage of the poor ai of madden to get a sack through shifts and playcall. With proof there will be an automatic owner suspension.

B. Pre-Snap
You may not move more than 3 players on defense pre-snap, outside of designed shifts.

C. Coverage/Rushers
You may not have more than 8 defenders in coverage, and you must have at least 3 RUSHERS at all times. Contains and QB Spies do not count as rushers. You are not allowed to 2 man rush, there has to be 3 rushers at all times.

D. Play abuse
(This includes Offense and Defense).
Defense will have a lot longer leash.
If three or more people complain about play abuse for that owner, that owner will get an automatic owner suspension.

VI. Special Teams
A. Pooch Punts
Those low, hardly kicked punts that are impossible to get a clean return on are banned.
Any fumble caused by the punt (pooch punt), the player that punted it will have to punt it back for a touchback.

B. Punt Returns
There is to be no running an extra blocker back on punt returns. We shouldn't have to explain why but we can we guess.

C. Kickoffs
Onside kick when it calls for it in the 4th quarter. We understand NFL teams are throwing in a surprise onside kick from time to time, but due to the surprise onside being removed from Madden, we're going to refrain from onsides unless necessary. You are not to squib kick it with the intention of using it as an onside kick.

VII. Position switching
Don’t use a TE as your FB sign a fucking FB. NO HOARDING POSITIONS.
We understand that position switches are going to happen often in the league. That being said, if a player does not meet the position switching requirements, it is up to you to state your case to everyone as to why it should be approved.
QB
•    Be at least 5'10".
•    Have at least 75 THP.

HB
•    Be in the first 3 years of the player's career.

FB
•    Be 86 SPD or less.
•    Be at least 230 pounds.

WR
•    Be in the first 3 years of the player's career.

TE
•    Be 6'2" or taller.
•    Be 86 SPD or less.

OL
•    Be at least 290 pounds.
•    If native position is on OL, the switch is permitted regardless.

DE
•    Be at least 240 pounds.
•    If native position is OLB, the switch is permitted regardless.

DT
•    Be at least 290 pounds.

OLB
•    Be at least 230 pounds.
•    If native position is DE, the switch is permitted regardless.

MLB
•    Be at least 230 pounds.
•    If native position is OLB, the switch is permitted regardless.

CB
•    Be 220 pounds or less.

FS
•    Be 220 pounds or less.
•    If native position is SS, the switch is permitted regardless.

SS
•    Be 230 pounds or less.
•    Be 93 SPD or less.
•    If native position is FS, the switch is permitted regardless.
If you are found to have moved a player to a position without meeting the requirements without getting approval, the player will be suspended for the remainder of the season, and must be switched back the following year.

VIII. Draft, Trades, Free Agency
A. Trades
I want to make one thing very clear: Trades do not have to be "realistic" in comparison to the NFL. This is Los Madden, not the NFL. I am a firm believer in building your team the way you see fit, granted you do your part as an owner.
New Trade cap
After the draft the max amount of picks are capped at 3 trades for the preseason and regular.
Offseason trade cap will be 5. Draft day trades can't be monitored effectively and we trust you'll be smart and not trade away your souls.

Trade Procedure
1.    The trade must be proposed.
2.    The trade must be approved by the trade committee.
3.    The trade may then be processed on the console.

If a trade is processed before approval, the trade will immediately be voided.

Trade Committee
The trade committee is responsible for judging ALL trades.
Each committee member must give a detailed judgment on the proposal.
An approval will need majority vote (66%).

Trade Rules:
•    No player may be traded twice in the same season. This includes the offseason. (seek 3 team trades instead)
•    There will be no trading with CPU teams.
•    Any player signed in FA during the season may not be traded for one season.
•    A 3 star (owner that has been here a whole season) can trade marquee players.
•     Marquee player: 87 overall 28 years and younger. 90 overall 29 and older.
•     Anyone past this point (end of season 1) that joins can not trade unless they play 8 games. preseason included.
•    1 star can't trade a 1st and 2nd
       2 star can't trade a 1st

•    Teams out of the playoffs may agree to trades in principle.
Draftee Trade Rules:
•    1st round rookies may not be traded within the first season they are drafted. Does not include real-life players.
•    2nd-3rd round rookies may not be traded within the first season they are drafted.
•    4th-7th round rookies may be traded at any time.

Draft Day Trades:
Draft day trade limitations will follow regular season restrictions. The only difference will be the posting of the trade, and the trade not going toward your count.

Free Agency Trades:
Any player signed in Free Agency must be on the team for a full 16 games before being traded. Any player signed during the initial FA draft must be on the team for 32 games.

B. Draft
Draftee Trade Rules:
•    1st round rookies may not be traded within the first season they are drafted. Does not include real-life players.
•    2nd-3rd round rookies may not be traded within the first season they are drafted.
•    4th-7th round rookies may be traded at any time.
•    1 star can't trade a 1st and 2nd
       2 star can't trade a 1st

Draft Picks:
•   Maximum Draft picks per season:13
•   Every year you should have at least one 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round pick
•   Must have at least 4 picks in the draft
•   NO PLAYER FARMING OR HOARDING

Draft Day Trades:
Draft day trade limitations will follow regular season restrictions. The only difference will be the posting of the trade, and the trade not going toward your count.

C. Free Agency
There are no restrictions on signing FA's.
Any player signed in Free Agency must be on the team for a full 16 games before being traded. Any player signed during the initial FA draft must be on the team for 32 games.
This is something that shouldn't have to be said. Don't sign a player to a max deal with no bonus so that he will sign with you just to cut him a year or two after.
For every $10 million in salary, there should be a $1 million in bonus to go with it.
For example: If you offer a player $50 million over 5 years in base salary, the final contract should be worth $55 million.

- Cutting and Re-Signing
If you are trying to cut and re-sign a player for cap relief, due to Madden not allowing restructuring, We will allow you to cut and re-sign a player if, and ONLY IF a) We are in the offseason. (This means league offseason, not a crappy team's early offseason.) OR b) Before Week 2 of the preseason. Otherwise, if you release a player, you must wait TWO advances before re-signing him during the season.

IX. Members
A. Rankings
Here are the 6 ranks, from top to bottom, with the minimum requirements for them:
Remember the league MONITORS HABITS. UNSIM habits are talked about with everyone and will be cracked down on.

1 Star (just joined)
Unproven
Can’t trade a 1st and 2nd round pick
2 Star (Team owner for 8 in-game weeks)
Can’t trade a 1st round pick

3 Star (Team owner for one season**)
A 3 star (owner that has been here a whole season) can trade marquee players.
Marquee player: 87 overall 28 years and younger. 90 overall 29 and older.

4 Star (Team owner for two seasons)
Trusted

5 Star (Team owner for three seasons)
Rule Commitee

Admins
Trade Commitee

WE CAN ALSO VOTE YOU UP IF YOU ARE VALUED AND ACTIVE.
*in-game weeks do NOT include preseason/postseason.
**Full season includes preseason, regular season, postseason and offseason.

B. Discipline
Evaluation Process for Ranks
The evaluation process will come down to a few categories:
DON’T BE A PIECE OF SHIT / ASSHOLE
Remember every rule you break affects others in the league as well.
If you are demoted, you may not ask to be promoted again until the end of the following season.
If you leave the league in good standing for whatever reason you may have, you may return to the league as your previous rank.

- In-Game Conduct
Discipline
We're all here to play one style of ball: SIM-style football. Failure to adhere to this will result in the following repercussions:
•    1st offense - Warning

•    2nd offense - 1 game suspension

•    3rd offense - Banned from Los Madden
- Difference between Owner and Player suspensions. Previously we would suspend players instead of owners for violations not directly made by the player. No longer will this happen the owner will now be suspended instead in this case.

- If you feel a player is not following rules, share it and bring it to a 5 Star member. And if you break the rules or have a moment where you lose control Just APOLOGISE. We are human and a SINCERE apology goes a long way.
