MADDEN 15 LEAGUE RULES

*** We Will Be Using DaddyLeagues for this league.

    League weeks will advance every 48-72 hours unless all games are completed earlier. Advance time will be at 10pm CST. (Advance time frame will be discussed further before the league starts)

    Schedule your game as early as possible. If no contact is made, your team will be set to auto-pilot by 9pm CST on advance day. If your cannot play your game, please let me know so I can set your team to auto-pilot and allow the other player to play the game.

    There will be no rage quitting. If you need to reset (game glitched/connection error/etc.), please let a commisioner know and you'll be approved to do so. If no approval is obtained before multiple attempts (ie. quitting because you don't like results, quitting in anger, etc.), then your team will be put on autopilot for the next week. If both players agree on replaying the game, then you may do so without any concern or question. If there is a clear winner and the game disconnects/player quits and both players can not agree on a replay, then the losing player's team will be put on autopilot and the other player will get to play the computer.

    ALL trades must be approved by the league trade committee to authentic fair trades. When proposing trades, please keep them reasonable. In keeping them fair, draft picks do have values based on where they will fall in the draft (IE. late 1st rounder vs early 2nd rounder), but they are diminished since they work for the future. If offering trades for players from computer teams, please be aware that they will be more critically considered by the trade committee due to them potentially affecting new users in the future and not wanting to screw those teams up.     In order to allow fair use of the free agency pool, during the preseason, a draft will take place after the auto-draft of full rosters. This will last 5 rounds, after which, the free agency pool will open up to all users without requiring approvals.

    No cutting players to resign them and save cap space. Anyone found breaking this rule and using this exploit will be forced to release that player into free agency and take the cap penalty, if there was one. Repeat offenders will be put on auto-pilot or booted, depending on how many times this has occurred.

    No exploiting the contract glitches when resigning players. Anyone found doing so will be forced to drop that player into the free agency.

    Be respectful of each other. If there are disputes, please handle them like adults or bring to us and we will help. Overall, we are hoping for a fun and competitive league, but it is a game in the end.

    Preseason games will be simmed. In order to allow user owners to handle roster sizes, player adds and drops, and stadium rebuilding, there will be a time frame in between each preseason week to do so. Injuries will be turned off so players don't get injured during the simmed offseason.

MADDEN 15 LEAGUE GAMEPLAY RULES

    No repetitve play calling. Mix up your plays as best as you can. No money plays or exploits. Attempt at least 10 pass plays and 10 run plays per game (unless specific situations dictate otherwise, but for the most part, this shouldn't be an issue as long as you balance your playcalling).

    Treat the gameplay like a sim league. No nano blitzes. No weird defensive formations (at least 3 rushers at all times; does not count spy). No crazy formation audibles (ie. quarters to goal line). No exploiting glitches, running repeated money plays, or any other video game "specials". No stat padding either. If you are up big in the 4th quarter, putting in subs and/or running the clock should be utilized.

    The following rules are for player vs cpu games only to avoid stat padding and unrealistic games. a) No use of supersim to generate more plays b) Maintain play calling mix runs/passes c) No records should be broken vs CPU. Only in PvP games. d) The following max stats are allowed in a cpu game: 1) No more than 400 passing yds or 6 TDs for a single quarterback. 2) No more than 200 rushing yds or 3 TDs for a single running back. 3) No more than 200 receiving yds or 3 TDs for a single receiver. 4) No more than 4 sacks for a single defensive player.

    Punting: You should only go for it on 4th down when losing late or when it would be reasonable for a real NFL team to go for it. For example, on 4th and short from the “dead zone” (your opponent’s 40 to the 50) or 4th and inches on a close game. If winning by 2 possessions or more, there is no going for it on 4th down.
