What do you do when you read a Cover 3? I see this often and I try to read which way the short safety is headed. Typically the underneath routes are open but that is the obvious answer.

The true question is, how do you attack a Cover 3 to make the defense think twice about using it?

Yeah, the easiest option is underneath slants and check downs. So many GD check downs!
Attacking with Floods work good making the outside defender decide between the flat of corner route

I feel like many players in this game allow the short routes to go to protect the deeper ones. The offensive AI doesn't run the short routes deep enough so these underneath routes get 3 yards unless you can break some tackles.
I find it difficult if I get behind in a game and the defense sits in mainly Cover 3 and different variations of it to keep me guessing.
