Alright everyone before we get into the "official" rules let me just start out by saying this is a SIM style league. We all should know what that means, play REAL football. The commissioners of this league should not have to babysit everyone and watch all the streamed games. That will get old quick, and if it has to be done don't expect to be here long. However people do make mistakes and things will happen, remember it is a video game. So if for someone reason you are unsure about something, just ask. These rules could change overtime, if you have any suggestions bring them up to the commish. Please read them all and reply back to this post agreeing to them. Again if you have questions, just ask someone.
4th Downs
- You get one 4th down attempt in the 1st half. You must be one the 50 or opponents side of the field.
- You get one 4th down attempt in the 3rd
- You can go for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter anytime you are losing. If you are winning in the 4th you can go for it under 2 minutes, other than that you must punt.
- Basically on 4th downs do what you see happening on Sundays.
Trades
- You only get three trades during the season, and one during the offseason.
- All trades will be voted on
- Rookies can not be traded
- Only one 90 rated player or higher can be traded on offense and defense during the season.
- No trading away franchise players.
Play Calling
- You must switch up your play calling on both sides of the ball.
- On offense use different formations, you never see teams running out of the same formation all game.
- Do not just play zone or man all game
Player Position
- Be real in this situation.
- FB can be played as TE for example
- DE can be played as OLB
- No putting HB's or WR's where they do not belong. If it is seen happening there will be suspensions.
Blitzing
- No nano blitzing
- Use the blitz's you have in your playbook
Broadcasting Games
- All games of the week will be broadcasted by the away team
- All Playoff games will be broadcasted by the away team
- If for some reason lag is experienced while broadcasting it can be shut off.
Motion
- When using motion in the game you must wait until the player is across the field and is set before you start the play.
- Do not hike the ball when the player in motion is running in between the tackles.
Sportsmanship
- We should all know how to act in this situation.
- Do run up the score or stat pad
- When up by 21 points or more, play your game, punt and kick FG's when necessary do not run it up.
- If losing by more the 21 you can run the no huddle, go for 2, and onside kick.
- There will be NO quitting. If you do quit you will be put on auto the next week.
Trash Talk
- There can and will be trash talk in this league
- However do not let it get out of hand to the point where it turns into something else.
