he has a hitch in his swing (which he doesn't have in real life) and it kills his ability to hit. it's why you can get a diamond 96 for 24,000 tickets. that hitch makes it impossible for him to hit lots of pitchers.CSULB49er 2017-01-10 04:50:42
He absolutely has a very subtle way of loading up his swing... It sure is a 'hitch' and IMO the animation does make it a tougher swing to get the hang of... But like most, we all have preferred swings, that feel comfortable. I rake with Mookie now that I have become comfortable with his swing, his load up aka 'hitch' is actually pretty close to the actual swing. just b4 loading up his wrists, He brings his hands in tight, then brings them back, taking his swing though his stride. IRL it is very slow and subtle not as pronounced as in the Show. To your point, it does take getting used to... His value is low because he is the most common diamond IMO AND For 20k, a versatile player like Betts, plays second, all of the outfield, and a threat on bases... 20k is a steal...Add a Comment
